I have watched several of these playthroughs and you are the only streamer I’ve seen who grasps the themes and deeper concepts whereas pretty much everyone else is just skin deep. Watching you actually adds more to the story beyond just generic streamer emotional reactions. And I also love how you mention the differences between the Chinese and the English localization. 5:16:34 In my opinion I think the story portrays that although it is not wrong to experience the beauties of a dream, the understanding of something not being real will always be in your mind and will always affect your experience, and it can bring people happiness through pleasure but not happiness through fulfilment which are very different feelings. Having a Loving Husband or Wife, Finishing something you set out to create, overcoming a disability or even just meeting people I think they bring something beyond a sense of pleasure that is important for humans to feel and that I don't think is possible in a fake world especially if you know its fake. Again there is nothing wrong with a little escapism but it should never regress your real world life. Anyway I love your extremely detailed playthroughs :)

I've also watched many streamers play the story and not many realised that we might still be in a dream after the fake ending. Sweetily immediately raised the possibility. So many people were fooled. It was so weird to me. If they didn't realised everything seemed too perfect and rushed, then at least they should've remembered that many scenes from the trailer had not been shown at that point.

I had my suspicious the moment jingyuan enters with a bunch of xianzhou fleet. Those location exist in a dream how in the world xianzhou ships can be seen in a penacony dreamscape. Then my suspicion was confirmed further when everyone forgets about acheron even boothill, only blackswan and possibly sparkle should be able to mess with people's memory but why would they forget acheron. Then IPC just conceded to get penacony back is just no way, at that moment i was like we are still in a dream.

While it does seem weird to me in thr beginning, I also realise most people watch the Trailer once and be like "dat was cool" I for one was sure it wasn't over just because the Livestream already explained the 3 phase boss fight.
