I know I'm a few months late, but I want to point out that a delayed counter can actually yield a higher DPS in certain situations compared to the second "sweaty" option of successive quick counters. Certain dodge counters (e.g. Yinlin, Yangyang) are also chain attacks in and of themselves. As such, if you know that an enemy's about to reach the end of their attack chain, going for a perfect dodge against the second to last hit - then following up with a delayed counter to i-frame the one right after - is going to be the better option. As Sweetily pointed out, it's an optional trick up your sleeve that's good to keep in mind and can be very useful if you know how to appropriately blend them into the flow of a fight. Also, considering the video was out before Changli, I'd also like to point out that her vertical displacement due to E can be exploited to dodge certain ground attacks. I actually don't know if they have i-frames but they most certainly displace her hitbox vertically. Same goes for her teleport during enhanced NA. Xiangli Yao can do something similar with his E's, but the windows are tighter, and again, I'm not sure if they are just hitbox displacements or if they also implement i-frames. I'm sure other characters have similar gimmicks. I'm yet to build Youhu but I bet she also has some crazy stuff going on for her. Her forte mechanic is all over the place as is.

It may not be the best, but I really like going down the follow-up route and picking up the components that give your characters extra turns. If I'm able to pick up ANY component that heals then I can just say "I don't need a sustain" and run with Feixiao, Topaz, Robin, and Yunli and watch them attack over and over and over again. It's fun.

Thank you for the guide, but tbh I’ve been trying so hard to match those preset, and finally I just finished it with my own setup accidentally (Denouement, Sealing, Collapse- with random component and no any decision as mentioned above) 😂 Takeaways: Buff diversity (like one focus, one AoE, one blast) is quite important instead of relying only one scepter set.

What about the other three build? DoT, FuA, Ultimate?

I'm still confused which sub stat is better for her: basic attack damage bonus or resonance skill damage bonus? Iirc her resonance skill attacks is considered as basic attack and that's where i'm confused on which sub stat will actually have impact This question also apply to jiyan because iirc his resonance liberation attacks is also considered as heavy attack and that's where i'm confused if i should pick resonance liberation damage bonus or heavy attack damage bonus

It took watching 3 different guides for me to finally understand how to play Camellya... This guide was the last one I watched and also the one that made things click - turns out I need to press skill again after using ephemeral 😩 Among all the guides I watched, this is by far the simplest and easiest to understand so thanks a lot!

Pro tip. White camellya is meant for bosses while red is for multiple enemies

@3:33 "intro" @3:50 "ephemeral to enter budding state" (note this) @4:00 ".. and then outro" @4:05 "takes roughly 15 seconds" Hold on. That's ~27 seconds there. Minus ult animation, which doesn't affect my point below: My point .. if I do the rotation as fast as it can possibly be done, it takes ~13 seconds to enter budding state. Meaning I get about 1 second of Sanhua buff during her double damage state. Overall it feels more like Sanhua "balances" out the lower damage of the first half of the rotation. Similar case for echo skills and set-boni buffs. I hope we get a limited basic attack support soon with a longer buff, cause that boss HP bar is draining fast during that 1 second window with all buffs still up .. but I rarely ever even get that 1 second unless the boss is stunned, due to having to dodge.

Fusion Compiler with Rina and a PEN Ratio disk looks like a yummy option if I were to be honest. According to my calculations, I should be able to push all the way to 80% PEN.

I like the fua allignment because I can use tripple fua characters to charge fast

Watching multiple Camellya guide videos, everyone seems to recommend a slightly different optimal 'rotation' of skills/attacks and when to swap. I think that's a good thing, meaning there is nuance to her kit that is lacking for other characters. But that also means she is not beginner friendly and has a higher learning curve, so pull at your own discretion. I wouldn't categorize her as a must-pull if you need a dps for your account, with Xiangli Yao re-run right around the corner (if you don't have him already or want copies or his weapon), but to each their own. Had to make her e3 at least XD I've been struggling for too long with subdpses like Changli and Yinlin 💀also Xiangli Yao seems to be a main fielder too, but I don't like him.. and skipped Jinhsi (I kinda regret my decision there 💀). So it was about daaamn time I got a real cute main fielder dps and she is absolutely gorgeous!!! And her moves are insanely beautiful and elegant too! By the way, was there a guide you had for Zhezhi? I'm not sure if I should pull her on rerun and for whom.

Amazing guide, her combos seem confusing at first until you mentioned use her skill off cooldown. I was getting mixed up between her budding state and non budding state vine stance 😂

Thanks Sweetily but I sense a heavy bias towards red hair here lol. Won the 50/50 and got her weapon early so I have plenty resources left. I guess I have to change my double havoc build now. Her animations are insane. Definitely didn't disappoint. Sanhua keeps evading me every banner but I got one random copy on Camellya's. I've been slowly building her because I like her so it's great they work together. Good luck everyone
