this guy is unbelieavable. he actually sent me a video for my birthday.Never meet your heroes? i guess i proved that wrong. Patrik Elias is the best!
@MrVenkrbec6 жыл бұрын
i feel that even through all of his accomplishments in the NHL he is still one of the most underappreciated star players here in the czech republic. maybe due to the fact that he spent almost his whole career oversees, maybe because he has never played much for our national team as the devils´ usually had long playoff runs. however, if nothing else this ceremony has shown just how much he means to the devils organization.

as an Avalanche fan and the Slovak, Devils and the Czechs were understandably big rivals, but I allways respected Patrik Elias as an unique and special player. But after seeing this video I realized, that I didnt appreciate him enough. It's not only about a what a great player he was, but what personallity, modesty, one club loyality, and humanity. I was cry at the end and if the former rival can bring tears into your eyes, that's definitely prooved what kind of person is he, apart from what kind of player he was...take care Patrik...dakujem

Přeji spoustu štěstí a zdraví celé rodině. Díky, Patty.

Patrik Elias is my favorite NHL player ever. I hope that I can go to the devils just like him. The last game I went to before this one was the retro night against boston. When Patrik scored I went nuts. Seeing my idle score a goal in person was anything I could have asked for. I have never been so happy at a devils game that I almost died of shock( I'm over reacting). Either way the game was great (besides the refs). I thought I was going to lose my hat because of Kyle Palmari. A couple of days after I saw a video of the selfie video that Patrik made. I will always remember this day. Please share your best experience about Patrik Elias.

Than go get Patrik Elias. 2 way forwards are in vogue now more than ever. He should get recognized. If he played in Toronto ( thank god he didn't, F--K those stinky Leaves) he'd be in the HOF, that's the shame of it all.

Jak to myslíš s JJ?
@prazsky_pepik6 жыл бұрын
Viz. WSM liga. A to, co se kolem něho děje. Ani v tý naší lize už to neni ono.

To si trošku pleteš pojmy s dojmy :) Tohle není ukončení kariéry, ale vytažení dresu pod střechu, kompletně jinej ceremoniál :)

@markde83596 жыл бұрын

I always liked the Devils, always rooted for them but I did not become a FULL lifer Devils fan until December 1986 (and I was born, raised and still ...sadly...live here in Philadelphia) and that was because of Chris Terreri. Just 10 minutes in, WOW....I was there when the fans were scarce and we were not much and to see what we have become? It give me chills of amazement and I am so happy an proud to be a Devils fan. I still have the first ever articles about us from Goal Magazine, The Hockey News and The Hockey Digest. From being laughed at by flyers fans in the 80's to being FEARED by those same scum bag flyers fans...it is AWESOME! TY Patty....but most importantly, thank you LOU, Jacques, The Great Scott's....and GOD IN PADS MARTIN BRODEUR.

Actually, the real only bad thing, Patty mentioned Jan Ludwig and NO ONE CLAPPED OR CHEERED. Jan was one of my favorite Devils in the first few early seasons of the Devils and he was on the cover of the Devils programs a lot back in the first few years #28. I would have been the only one clapping...wish some fan there remembered him.
