Description:
A really qualitative and easy to play shakuhachi, it is also very comfortable for its slightly curved shape like a Japanese katana and also thanks to its staggered holes this instrument is even more ergonomic for the hands, which usually get very tired in long flutes, while playing this flute the fingers and hands remain relaxed and this also makes our playing reach greater depth.
What can I say about this flute? It has a 14 year seasoning, it was produced from a Madake cane, it has a white inlay in dense acrylic resin, it is lacquered with red urushi lacquer inside and outside on the root with pure urushi, finally it has my three hanko that define a professional level instrument.
As for the sound, the videos speak clearly, it is reactive, resonant almost like a jiari, perfectly tuned on three octaves, but if we want to play it in a calm and meditative way it becomes a very warm jinashi, rich in harmonics and colors.
