Thank you guys for the presentation. Based on my own experiences may I just comment and highlight a couple of areas of relevance! (1) in the annimation the back leakage test was performed for all injectors together. Although high flow rate could be present, that would not indicate an individual faulty injector! In Steve's presentation the back leakage test was carried out for individual injectors, (2) my experience knows that the bottle is too small to test back leakage on unknown injectors condition. Many technicans may not be aware of that and the safety implications. If no exit hole is present in the small bottle Steve used, then the WPS would have excessive internal pressure build up. I had a recent injector where the flow rate was so fast that the bottle had overfilled and flooded the engine bay by the time I'd walked from the drivers door to the engine bay. Panic then struck! I had no reason to suspect the excessive back leakage as the only symptoms I had were excessive engine cranking time and black smoke under hard acceleration. Other than that the engine ran smoothly. Maybe put a couple of notes on the presentation for new users of the WPS500x

How mad, you posted this 4 days ago and you had posted me my WPS kit the same time. After I have used my 4425 for a number of years now I have looked at many transducers and finally decided on something that was tried and tested so ordered the WPS. Am very much looking forward to taking samples from vehicles good and bad as the secret is to play with these things especially with scopes. Anyway I look forward to seeing a few tips in this video. Thanks guys…

Great resource. Thanks very much.

It would be nice if you compared the WPS500 to the TA393, and what that can be used for, and its limitations....

I see there is a power switch on the WPS. When you say "standby", do you mean on and waiting for use? I'll assume that power off and fully charged will stay charged for much longer than eight hours.

Would like to see this supplied to air conditioning compressors, especially piston compressors that have valve plates. They’re usually five cylinder six cylinder seven cylinder 10 cylinder . But occasionally one valve plate gets damaged, either broken or bent and distorted, reducing the efficiency of the compressor . Just like a cylinder of the engine, transducer should be able to pick us up . Would like to see you do a video applying this to air-conditioning systems Especially with the introduction of scroll compressors and very expensive heat pump systems on electric cars

Have you carried out any research or asked Pico staff if the WPS600C hydraulics transducer could be used for AC systems?

@ I was looking at that stuff and hoping I could use it or any other transducer. It’s not rocket scientist level, kind of stuff.. but it would be nice if I had high speed, accuracy, and resolution. Because I would really like to use something like a pico scope to look at the valves of multi cylinder compressors that are too fast for the human ear or touch to pick up a damage valve when you have seven cylinders or 10 cylinders . Two cylinders it’s really easy to see on a analog gauge or even here or feel one bad or broken valves.

One of these days I'll end up getting a 4 channel pico. Every time I get a savings going something happens.
