Great tip. I used to clamp split shots on years ago when I still had patience to fish that way. Good show last weekend with Matt by the way.😎✌️

Hey Rich ... maybe a better idea, would be to crimp on any size split shot on the hook shank, and can change weights quicker, without removing hook or messin' with the bobber stop! .... see ... us old guys can still have good ideas!
@HellaBass4 жыл бұрын
That would work too. In MN there is alot of grass, so I think my version will come through grass better, but if you got a bunch of shot, good way to use them up

What your favorite hook and hook size for wacky/Neko rigging senkos?
@HellaBass4 жыл бұрын
Matt - I most often use the VMC Neko or Mustad TItanX hooks sometime weedless, sometimes not, I think #1s is the size I normally use - bit.ly/3hkX3Hi

Hey HellaBass how are you?

Other than being Winter in MN, doing well. You?
@morganyoder42774 жыл бұрын
I would get some wacky hooks, but weightless texas rigs work for me.
@HellaBass4 жыл бұрын
Most of the time that works great, but every now and then the wacky is needed
@morganyoder42774 жыл бұрын
@@HellaBass I've thought about it, but you can only do so much when you're 16. I just bought a bunch of swimbaits, so i'll be broke for a bit.
@HellaBass4 жыл бұрын
Fair enough, you'll find some on sale or in a clearance bin and then you can grab a few packs 😉
@morganyoder42774 жыл бұрын
@@HellaBass The clearance bin might be the way to go. I'll have to give it a look. I'm going to dedicate myself to swimbaits this winter though, the senkos will have to wait until the spring and beds.

Not a huge wacky worm guy, too many weeds most lakes that I fish.....or at least that is my reasoning. Haven't tried it a ton.
