My only concern is that the top floor doesn't have any walking space what so ever, in the "hall" that is. I feel like if you're not careful you open the door and fall down the stairs.

I suggest main door should be at left side so that it will not be inline with the dining and the back door. I've seen apartment this size and the comfort room door facing the longer stairs. Not good comfort room under the stairs then the door facing the dining? What!? Sorry I'm only an enthusiast about house designs.
