In terms of burners as partners, you didn't mention Sulfuryion. I think it's understandable to leave him off as a newish void lego, but he is #1 burn partner by a mile for Rathalos. #1 hydra burner, period tbh haha.

the biggest hit i've seen him do in my hydra runs was 2.9 million, but getting to that level of damage is rare, at least for me, i've seen it about once a run (did 2 testruns and one that i kept and i noticed the almost 3 million hit 3 times). i put him in my hard team though, not brutal, since the head of wrath always gives me a very hard time when bringing squishies and its not a fun experience. i basically am constantly fighting to stay alive or getting caught in a kill-revive-loop. i am doing normal, hard and nightmare regularly. the team i used was: Lazarius in the lead (i just pulled him from remnants 2 days ago, before that, sun wukong was in his spot, they both do basically the same thing but lazarius does even more after that + Mithrala, Rathalos, Artak, Lydia and Elva... but it was like you said, head of torment ruins whole runs. this got so annoying that i decided to take mithrala out in favor of shamael, partly also because with mithra, lydia and lazarius i had 3 strengthen buffs, which was kinda redundant. this only can work if someone else is in a curse set btw. in my case lydia provided the hex with that. this team got past the turn limit warning, but didnt reach 1500 turns quite yet and did 162 million damage in the end (which is my new personal best on hard, without rathalos my runs tended to only reach 70-85 million). artak and rathalos each were providing 50 million damage. they are both in relentless btw. lydia in curse as i said, elva in bolster, lazarius in instinct and shami-boy has only broken pieces on him.

Summoning Odds are equal distribution. If you imagine the summoning pool is a deck of cards - when there is a boosted chance (x10/15) they simply add more cards of the same champion to the deck. its still equal chance to get 1 of the total but there are now more of the one you want.

Do you not have lonatharil or is he just not built? Give crit damage and ally attack. From your first video he was the one I immediately thought of, him and Ma'Shalled. I actually just started putting in Valkanen into my teams and was trying to move champs around a bit and might move ma'shalled off of the team I put Vlkanen on so he'd pair well with Rathalos. It is funny people claim trunda is broken when it is actually yumeko and trunda is already a pain in the ass to set up without the double yumeko cheat... rathalos is worse. Still excited to build him out if I can work him into the rotation to get books... it is beyond a shame that you get so many characters you cannot use in this game. If they ever want to maximize long-term profits they'd let you farm books. It would really stabalize things in the game and while what they'd make in selling energy wouldn't cover the difference, I think more people would be willing to spend on energy or spend on shards if they had a way to actually book characters that they could grind towards.

Him with emic and geo are great, you can build emic to be the mischeaf target and you can use artak in a provoke set with retaliation and some revenge accessories if you dont have provoke champ

@@jackemilio1332 I actually pulled a second emic a week or so after the fusion (big of a gut punch when you get 3 void legos a year if you aren't a big spender). I have been considering making the second emic specifically for hydra. My main emic is in regen and immortal for a bunch of the other 271 teams and I just couldn't add resist onto the build as well.

I changed my Rathalos up a lot today. Used that Damage Efficiency Tool on HH website today to get him as balanced as I can atm, and since he's using Heavencast Blesing I put him into ATK/SUP instead of ATK/DEF, that way I've got an extra chance to increase the duration of his buffs and keep more up at a time for a longer period. As well as Hex Master, just for when he's in a group and he's the only Defense breaker. I really wanted to use Lasting Gifts and master Hexer at the same time, but I totally forgot about Cycle of Violence, bummer. But, after reducing his spd drastically so he wasnt burning through his buffs it worked out pretty well, and it was when I was using a really sh^t team for Magic Affinity CB. It was my first time seeing a champ hit for over a million damage with 1 a single hit, so I can't wait for CB to reset so I can go against the UNM Void affinity with my main team and squeeze that last 6 million I need to get my 1 key for UNM! I was thinking if can I build 2 all atk with rathalos making him rotation 5 skills every a2 , I just not smart enough to tune it at hydra , ally atk has to be tuned 4/3 with rathalos since mikage and lonatharil that I planning to use with him both have longer CD them rathalos a2.

he only aoes half the time - so its less effective - its just another layer of RNG (can you get the 30% during the window when all are dead and the 5th hit and its on the a2 etc)

Hydra is just too much for me. I 1 key easy. 1 key hard on 1 rotation but the rest are ridiculous. Kimi and Ukko together give me almost full control of the fight. But then i have no support if i want to use a second key. Quickly built Rathalos. Decent, but i built him too slow and only 3.4k attack. I find it so hard to get 100 crit rate plus speed AND attack over 4k. Guess i need perception or speed gear on him for what i have.
