I noticed in the 2nd game you were looking for a sac, really trying to find one, even though it wasn't there and I think you should only sac a piece once you calculate th,at the sac is winning. You're gonna hit 2000 in no time, my man, looking forward to your continued growth!

Knowing how to perform proper calculation is one of the hardest things to develop in chess though, as you need to be able to quickly visualize sequences on the board, while knowing when to.

@@Yute01 of course, it's easier said than done, Owen is leagues ahead of myself but when you decide to give up a minor piece/rook/queen, you gotta be sure it's worth it, especially playing against 2000+ who'll punish you.

@The0verman Oh yeah for sure. "Hoping" it works is never a good idea unless your opponents position gets ridiculously exploitable/hard to defend after a sac.

These days are ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY to your growth. Even Magnus losses back to back, but then he studies the shit outta them and improves. Head up - you’re doing very well! Again, you already think like a 2k-2050, but it’ll take a lot of losses to get there!
