The Chinese pistol and the Chinese Assault rifle are chambered in 10mm and 5.56 because it’d be easier for the spies to source ammo. I always was curious what the standard Chinese calibers would be.

When these were popular in real world China (during the post Imperial/pre Communist takeover) it was a bit like the Ukraine now. They were buying anything they could get their hands on so there wasn't really a standard cartridge. The local gun shops were also making copies in everything up to .45 ACP. After things settled down they standardized with Russia and adopted the 7.62 Tokarev (which was itself based on the original 7.62 Mauser but with higher pressures) before moving on to the 9x18 Makarov.

It's a completely useless weapon because the 10mm pistol you get straight out of the vault is just a straight upgrade. It does look cool though.

Even with unique version you need to shoot many magazines just to kill a simple enemy
