There is a lot of praise and thanks for these teachings; they give a good historical and factual understanding as in a secular discussion. It would be also great if it was feeding from the living Bread and we could meet Jesus in these sessions, as well as intellectual knowledge.

Another great teaching. I’m so grateful. Thank you. It is truly AMAZING how God speaks to our hearts in so many different ways. He often will bring pictures to my mind as I read and listen to help me understand more deeply. Amazes me how he uses the former things in our lives to do a new thing.... to cleanse us... to heal us.... to teach us... to strengthen us... to have a dialogue with us. He makes all things new. A City on a Hill cannot be hidden. All Glory to the most High God. He is truly Beautiful. Thank you Jesus. Heavenly Father. My King 👑

Thanks Pastor Paul. You would never think so, but at some point Solomon and his household probably got tired of looking at gold! Important point in 9:23 - the wisdom in Solomon's mind came from God. But as you point out, those 1000 women of his will turn away his heart from God towards idolatry and the division of the kingdom once his son becomes king. God bless.

Thank You. Solomon has so much given to him from God who only gives perfect gifts. 🎁. I hope I can use the wisdom that God has given me to enlarge and bless his kingdom 🙏. Thank you for explaining this scripture so well.. God bless you.

King Solomon was so successful because he had the wisdom from God. He knew wisdom he could work with the heathens and the Saints. Because of his wisdom. God knows human nature. He God created man kind.

It's strange that in 2Samuel's every chapter, or almost, somebody died, and each one had a different reason. Saul, Asahel, Abner, Ishbosheth, Uzzah, Nahash, Uriah, David's unnamed son, Amnon, Ahithophel, Absalom, the 7 sons of Saul and a few others including the thousands when David took his census. And despite that God favored David as the king after God's own heart.

Do we know how many kids King Solomon had? I believe since God's creation until the end no one else will beat King Solomon record. 1000 women for one guy? I see guy going crazy just with one wife only...

Glorious reign? Solomon spiraled downward into a despotic pagan idol builder and enslaver of his Jewish subjects. It doesn't take too much imagination to see why most of the tribes rebelled against that program.
