The way that little boy looked up at his father and knowing in that moment his life is changed forever brought tears to my eyes. Judge Lake is an amazing lady and there's many sad moments on this show but there's also some really wonderful moments of bringing families together and uniting children with the father they need in their life. My parents talked about the blue eyes in the family history forever, especially whenever one of us got married because my dad knew how men's minds work. He always said: if one of your kids come out with blue eyes nobody panic or think badly about your wife. Of course we all have brown eyes even almost the same shade of dark brown. We all beautiful and look alike and different at the same time. It's important for a kid to be told they look like their family because it makes them feel safe and they belong. But more important is to love them so they grow up right in this wrong world.
