I was asked these questions in my recent interview. Can you help me with a relevant answer for these? What is 1st prize auction? What is 2nd prize auction? What is Adhoc? What is Bid shedding? Agency is not able to see view creative, which are hosted on DCM, what might be possible reasons here? Thanks!

Hello, 1st price auction: highest bid wins and winner pays exactly what he offered. 2nd price auction: winner with highest bid pays 1 cent more than second highest bid. Adhoc: from latin, means "created or done for a particular purpose when needed". Bid Shading is often used in first price auctions where you bid below the estimated value mostly due to unknown worth of that bid.
