In this video I'm working on a collage with the second prompt, which is a paint chip.
Instead of a gluebook, I'm using index cards as the base of my collages. You can use whatever you would like.

I watched this last night and because I just got paint cards, I immediately made one. This was so satisfying. I just realised I'm not afraid of a little open space, it makes a place for the eye to rest. Thank you - or in Afrikaans: baie dankie ( it's pronounced in the line of 'buy-a-donkey'.

I didn't have a paint chip. I made my own using some acrylic paint. Worked fine.

Were those crickets I heard in the background? If so, I Ioved it! The sound reminded me of my childhood in the summer when we slept with the windows open (no air conditioning then!) and the crickets sang us to sleep. It was fun watching you work on this collage that presented a bit more challenge than you expected. The process of seeing you audition various pieces was helpful to see a collage artist like you have to work your way to a satisfactory solution. I always learn helpful things when I watch you, Margarete. Thanks!

Hi there! I get my postage stamps from my local stamp club. Do a google search to see if there is one in your area. They do shows also, and you can go and buys stamps. Of course you can also get stamps on Ebay or Etsy. 👍🏻

Margarete, I don't know if you have Lowe's in your area, but they have the coolest house shape paint chips! Such fun to play with! I don't recall the brand but they have a large number of colors. They are 2"w x 4"h? I pick up a few each time I go in. Let me know if you don't have Lowe's, and I can send you some. 😊

I do not know why you cannot hear me when I give you advice about color elements etc..I’m saying “no not that one”… use a longer rectangle not another stamp”! It is amazing what good ideas I come up for other people’s pieces, but am clueless about my own!!!😂❤
