Very interesting and informative. I also use both hands to knit this way. I learned English style as a little girl and was then taught Continental in my early twenties, many moons ago. My teacher suggested using English for the 2nd color and it was really fun. Worked out great. I don't think I'd be comfortable holding both yarns in my left hand and trying to switch them. We are currently making a circular swatch to learn different stitch patterns for a möbius cowl. Onto the Purl video. Thanks again!

Dear Cheryl, yours was the gift that keeps giving because I have been able to come back to these exemplary videos on stranded knitting to keep re-learning as I practice stranding in pursuit of my ultimate sweater! Something I am curious about is what do you like to do when knitting stranded in the round to prevent jogs from round to round, especially if there is a color change from the end of the prior round to the beginning of the next round?

ABM! . . . I'm so glad they are helping you. There is a little trick I have to look up about how to disguise the color jog. It can be done but it's been years since I've done it. I'm changing over my YT video format to match more closely how people use it (3 min 18 seconds average length of view on my videos for millions of views!) This could be a quick trick for me to show. Less fuss and complication in setting up the tech part will help make me more productive I hope. So much has happened since you were here! We ran hard electricity to the studio and I now have a gorgeous (well, not really, but I'm in love with it, hence it's beautiful to me) ductless heat pump that makes that space usable year-round. The little space heater wasn't enough. Now working on getting the outlets in. Half are done. And my business tech guru/coach was here all last week and we worked on websites, etc. Will email you soon.

The long floats really put me off stranded colour work. They look so messy and can be pulled. After seeing that the back can be as nice as the front ill see about trying some. Thanks x
