Has anyone mentioned Synplant by Sonic Charge? It's brilliantly whacky double helix programming, displays the sounds as blooming branches and if you want, you can have a different sound for each note of an octave. I love it! 😊

Well. Sanjay! Thank you so much for those oddballs plugins. I purchased Lair and also Droplets! Brilliant! I was looking for a very long time for something like Lair. I had to mix before that multiple plugins to achieve something approaching that realm. However, not as great as this one! I am using it to replace all that for my dark ambient highly melodic piano compositions. Piano bliss in Hell, ah ah! Cheers! Marcia from Belgium

Nit: the company's name is almost surely pronounced like the word "aberrant", which has its emphasis on the second syllable: pronounced like "ab-ERR-unt". The word aberrant matches this weird theme, because it means "not normal" or "deviant".

I picked up Droplets a week or two ago but haven't had much of a chance to play with it. Lair looks interesting, though I confess I find its presentation/market a tad off-putting (YMMV). There has been a free plugin in Reaper called Droplets for quite a while now. pretty much the same thing, that plugin copied it and even used the same name lolol, maybe the same dev i dunno. It doesn't come with Reaper but it's a free Reaper script plugin

NI Playbox is a pretty unique sound design plugin. Even though it’s purely sample based, there is so much to modulate and change and evolve!
