Thank Father in heaven for moving a woman on a s.m. post to mention Pastor Skip. My husband and I of 42 1/2 years started reading through the New Testament in our Bible's. I looked up and found your KZbin channel. With much anticipation we look forward to listening to your love of explaining each verse in in each chapter. At times we glean and then sometimes when going over it with you we are Astonishely amazed! Yes I said astonishingly amazed 🎉 at how much more we get and how much more there is in each verse of each chapter. Thank you for giving your life. 🫶🙏💦

beautiful comment. my favorite thing after my personal time with Jesus, is listening to a well thought, well delivered message. It’s incredible how strong one can feel from hearing the Word taught by someone who Loves the Word.

I knew quite a few people who got caught up in shepherding. Go to the Word. I pray you can change NM.

Skip, I love your definition of "the good old days!" Another is, "there are no more good old days, and there never were!"

Oh, I disagree. When I was young the living was easy and people compassionate. The majority of folks had morals. People had standards. Everyone went to church, even if they were clueless about having a relationship with Jesus, their hearts were mostly soft towards God. Kids could play in their yards without being murdered and no one was trying to talk the children into becoming boys. Granted, the world was NOT perfect, but the days were…..normal.

@@carolcole570 Amen ❤🙏 I was born 1973 and do remember riding my bike w my sister all over town ages 11 and 6 we would walk into town and shop at the little shops and stores (small town lol) we’d even started going to church on our own because our grandma preferred going to the 7am Spanish service so we wanted to go to the 10:30 am English service all on our own walking 5-6 blocks money for offering in our hands everyone knew and looked out for one another people were kind for no reason it wasn’t so rare as it is now man they might not have been the the good ole days but they were the best days considering what we went through later on in our lives w our mom and her boyfriend luckily the Lord came into their lives 20 years after that and they r saved and clean and sober and good people my stepdad and father died but they died saved and having had Christ changed their lives and transform them before they passed I am grateful for that my husband passed three years ago and my father a year after and I hope they are all together in heaven w my gramma and grampa ❤🙏sorry for rambling just wanted to share my version of the good ole days ❤🙏♥️ they stopped for me whenever I wasn’t with my grandparents ❤😢

@@veronicasanchez696 Ohhhh, your walk down memory lane was just wonderful. I am remembering the same kind of life that you remembering, except that my parents were together. No, those carefree days are long long gone, never to return, but in heaven, it will be SO much better.
