They say that adults don’t laugh but 17 times a day, at best. As children laugh over 300 times a day. While watching you’re videos, I must say I laugh more then 17 times that day. I’ve got some affection for the .303. Goes back to my school days. My school had a cadet unit and the cadets would ( on Friday Afternoons - I still remember that ) drill with those rifles. A lot of the kids at the school were Army kids from the Army base down the road, and the Army folks used to help us out with equipment. The guns were military grade, and, yes sir - they had a kick. They were good times though.

Leo I have 3 303's one has been sporterised and 2 are untouched and i have quite a bit of armor pierising ammo.

Leo I believe you're unknown print in the sand either a very large red tail hawk or perhaps an American eagle if you will notice different Tracks have the claws on the opposite side, a bird is the only mammal that can do that.. and one of those tracks look like a very large Martin similar to a weasel but much larger. The hawk or eagle was probably up on the shore dining on a fish that it had caught.

The 303 lee Enfield british-made ammunition was made with cordite instead of smokeless powder, Italian- Franch war time ammo was made with cordite also. Mainly because of manufacturing and economic constraints during wartime manufacturing,

Hi Leo just wanted to tell you how much I e joked this video my husband and I love e to fish sometimes we would fish until the sun came up when the bass and flounder were biting the fly fishing is not for me it is a special art if I tried it the line and the pole would be a mess even you couldn't straighten out lol love the beautiful gun and the bullets 80 years old firing was amazing what a very special and precious gift your brother left you so very sorry for your loss and yes about the gun and what those men did for our country our freedom they are the greatest generation tell Heather hi and you both be safe 😊

Oh the only thing I know that makes a track with 3 toes that’s that big is a casaweary it’s a big ass dangerous bird I don’t know if there in our area I’ve never seen one.

A friend and f mine here in SWVA is a retired state trooper, and he has been posting a bunch of stuff on that WVA trooper. So sad, ambushed. Glad they caught the guy. Loved that Enfield, man. Shooting an old rifle like that, especially with vintage ammo, is always a great experience, and a testament to how long ammo can last. Great video!

You need to hold on to that 303 Lend-Lease Enfield rifle most of the ones that came back here to United States after the war was converted over to 30-06. Mainly at that time due to the shortage of 303 ammunition in United States. And you can go online to a company called numrich arms and get that screw you need for the ejector very easy. I have the short jungle infield version of this rifle,

That gun could have seen duty at any number of British duty stations. You could probably do some research on the serial number to trace it back even as far back as to when exactly and where it was made and even to service units . The British keep very detailed records. 👌 Tracks could be wild turkey... tracks.

You need to put a 4-power Weaver scope on the rifle,that the same as used by the us/ uk troops in ww2, the one you put on it is more gear for beanch rest rifes, it still a great family heirloom to pass on to your children,

I know I’ve seen weird tracks before and have heard some weird things years ago in the mountains.
