I should thank Morphe for getting me here, I went to their store in Amsterdam to check it out but they wouldn’t give me a sample and buying the whole bottle without knowing how it would like on my oily textured skin. But I trust your in-depth review about this product. I have never seen such a meticulous review, also honest with showing how it REALLY looks like on the skin instead of studio lights. I don't like frosted packaging either- whether it's used for liquid lipsticks or foundations, but esp.for foundations. Like I already suck at shade/undertone matching online & in stores too cos of all the damn artificial lighting, why make it even harder w the frost! lol Thanks so much for the review!

Bless my boyfriend’s heart because he saw me watching reviews on this foundation and surprised me with it yesterday, but it wore pretty identically for me as it did for you and I have dehydrated combo skin 😰 I noticed it is very pretty on the parts of my face that weren’t super dry, don’t get as oily, and has no blemishes and zero texture, however. I mean...that doesn’t mean a ton, but still, haha. One thing I noticed about it that was weird is it dried down extremely quickly and made it super hard to blend initially. My skin loves to just DRINK any moisture it gets. I used the Pretty Fresh primer from Colourpop today for my second wear and it wore a smidge better, but it still separated horribly around my mouth and settled into all my fine lines.

Ugh... not a good sign! This is why I didn't buy the first foundation because everyone said it was just too heavy and didn't wear well. I'm getting this delivered in a couple of days and now I'm super curious how I'll feel about it. I'm really not liking how you had to use so much to get coverage. But anyways, per the usual this is a really helpful and thorough review! And thanks for mentioning that the sponge is at Target. I have been wanting to try it for a while now.

aww well you could always try it anyway and return if it doesn't work out for you! if you're looking for a foundation with this type of finish, I have a video called "the best/worst hydrating/natural /dewy foundations for oily skin and there are A LOT to pick from, both drugstore and luxury. Hope this helps!

Yes! So here: www.morphe.com/collections/vegan They say they are cruelty free, however not all products are vegan. At first I was confused because they make their makeup in China, but from what I have read, as long as they are not SELLING the makeup there, they do not need to test on animals. I hope this answers your question!

Im glad you got a shade that matches pretty well with not being able to test the shades. Wow thats a lot that came off when blotting 😶 This foundation definitely seems mediocre. It looks nice initially. It might just have to he a filming foundation but not a long wear one lol

I think that Ulta can do a better job of shade matching, even during covid. Just having us buy whatever and hope it works is ridiculous and so wasteful. They could easily have testers that only employees have access to... place some in a small container for us to test. Perfectly covid safe and less wastefulness.

Absolutely! Sephora lets me test foundations! she would give me a brand new cotton swab to check on my neck, and then we'd throw it away so there is no contact from me to the product. It can be done!

This is so disappointing! Morphe doesn't seem to meet the mark when it comes to foundations. I wonder how it works on dry skin. Have you successfully used Coty Airspun under your foundation? Or just the Dermablend?
