2 dead after driver crashes in Manhattan park, 7 others injured

Two people are dead and seven injured after they were struck by a pickup truck driver on the Lower East Side on Thursday night. CBS New York's Lori Bordonaro reports.

Correction: The crash happened at the intersection of Water and Jackson Streets. Cherry Street is parallel to Water Street. The driver was zooming up Water St., which ends at Jackson. The park he drove into is between Cherry and Water on the Jackson St. side, the driver was probably turning left towards Madison. Anyway, it's interesting how the reporters just copy/paste what the police say. Why bother sending them to the location if they can't even check street signs for themselves.
