When we are doing any individual business, where every partner has invested equally on a machine. For unforeseen reasons, the business gets closed prior to the finishing of the useful life period/depreciation period of the machine. But there has been necessary provisions provided for the depreciation. All the expenses are also accounted. While making settlement to the partners, the company gives the benefits on the assesed/market value of the machine only and depreciation amount provided are not shared. Please give a clarification that whether the partners are eligible to get the provisional depreciation amount kept at the books on the machinery account?

the cost of machinery in use with a firm on 1/4/11 was 250000 rs against which the depreciation provision stood at 105000 rs on that date, the firm provided dep at 10% of D.V M. on 31/12/11 two machine costing 15000 and 12000 respectively both purchased on 1/10/08, had to be discarded becoz of damage and had to be replaced by two new machines costing 20000 rs and 15000 rs respectively. one of the discarded machine was sold for 8000 rs against the other it was expected that 3000 rs would be realisable. show the relevant a/cs in the ledger on the firm for the year ended 31/3/12.

On 1st April 2005 karan brothers purchase furniture rs 40000 on 1st Oct 2005 .addition furniture purchase for rs 20000 on 1st Oct 2007 .they sold furniture which was purchase on 1st April 2005 for rs 28000. Mam I have a doubt in hire purchase! I saw your vedio but the question is not like that ? I have a total doubt in this question what to do ??? I tell the question please answer for that question!!! On 1.1.2006 Sujatha bought a machine from chitra and co on hire purchase system Rs. 1,20,000 was the cash price , Rs. 30,000 down payment at the end of 1st year Rs 34,500 , 2nd year 33.000 and 3rd year 31,500 was payable. The vendor charged interest at 5% and depreciation is provided at 10% annually. Journalise entries in the books of the both the parties.. This my question please send answer for me mam !!!..
