We were always reminded not to go into roads and freeways that are flooded as well as go to places where it is susceptible to flooding and are stormwater drainage. Looks can be deceiving and all it takes is to find out the hard way. That should not be the case. Road barriers and road closed signs are there for a reason even if it does not look like it is flooded or no longer flooded. It is worse in the night especially now as the sun sets earlier and rises later. Stay home or in a hotel for the night during a storm.
