2 EPIC VINTAGE 1960s General Oiltronic Elevators in St. Pete Beach, FL!!!!

To celebrate President's Day, of course just like ANY Holiday, no matter how important it is, I HAVE to upload something VINTAGE!!!!! But this time, I got not ONLY 1, but 2 VINTAGE General's!!!!! Both are COMPLETELY ORIGINAL, Straight out of the Late 1960s, and have BEAUTIFUL Black Armor fixtures, that are in MINT CONDITION!!!!!! In Addition, they are right around the corner from each other!!!! First one was at SeaFair Condos, other one was at the Colonnades Building Condos, In St. Pete Beach, Florida. This beach has MANY General's but THANKS TO FLORIDA CODES, not many of them remain original, and are modernized. Fortunately, not these!!!!! These were both COMPLETELY ORIGINAL!!!! And while this may be wishful thinking, I hope NEITHER of them get modernized!!!!!
They were both AMAZING!!!!!
The first one had it's fixtures in AMAZING Shape, but wasn't quite AS Epic as the second one for the reasons I'm about to give, though the cab is in better shape on Elevator 1.
Elevator 1 had it's fan on loud so you couldn't hear the motor, but Elevator 2 had an AMAZING DRY POWERED CHEWBACCA MOTOR!!!! I declare this elevators' name is now "GENERAL CHEWY"!!!! It's fixtures were also in GREAT CONDITION, it ran smooth like the other one, but this one also had a VERY COOL Door Track logo on it!!!!! The ceiling is taken apart on this one, but WHO CARES!?!?!? The MOTOR and everything else was TRULY INCREDIBLE!!!
With that being said, these were some truly EPIC Elevators, True time machines back to the Late 60s/Early 70s, with EPIC MOTORS, and with that all being said, let's ride 'em!!!!

I just visited these elevators while on a trip to the Tampa Bay Area, and unfortunately found that the second elevator in the video has been modded. The cab was still original, but no more Armor fixtures. The first one remains original, but I would assume it’s days are numbered. I’m glad I at least made it in time to see at least one of them in their original state, but it still kinda hurts to think that something with such rare fixtures is about to be modernized.
