@@sandspar ever heard of muscle memory and practice? I'm not ambidextrous, but I learned how to use a weapon with both hands because of practice. I have personally not played airsoft before. But going by what I see in videos of it. If you are hit, you raise your hand and say "hit." Where does your primary hand come into play if you are are already eliminated as a target? Seems like your argument is invalid.
@nsahandler

@@dandan11479 Firing with both hands means that you can cover your entire line of sight from a concealed position without exposing yourself. If you are firing from the left side of cover, using your left hand allows you to just stick the barrel out and mow people down on the angle instead of exposing your entire left side by firing with your right hand, or by exposing your right side and having to lean from the right side of cover to get the same angle.

Impressive job there. It just shows the level of skill and training required to be an effective soldier. Anyone can shoot a gun, but to understand the dynamics, teamwork and tactics is where the real skill lies. I just feel for the civilians in Ukraine who were recently issued weapons. They'd be sitting ducks against a trained adversary. Thankfully it looks like the Russian's are having a hard time right now as the Ukrainian military is doing a good job repelling them, but in CQC the average civilian probably won't have much luck if the enemy is as trained as this. Better than nothing though!

Bullets would just fly through those walls. So in reality, the enemy force would just start shooting into the building making the defenders take cover, no more perfect angles and spots and easy kills. A grenade in a house would just take everyone out. And a force that size would have some grenade launchers or RPGs. Even two and that fight was over.
@kodi1969
@kodi1969 2 жыл бұрын
What gun are you shooting that in reality will shoot through brick walls? Yes, in reality you would lay down suppressive fire in order to close the open ground. But the opposition had no leaders, no one taking control, with 50 untrained guys with an effective leader implementing a planned attack would have made a heck of a lot of difference. Good idea to have guys in the building but they didn't shoot from within the room, so have their position away and became targets. Great team work from the two ex army guys... Who effectively used shadow and angle to hide, when approaching a building with a first floor shooter all you see is the window and first foot of ceiling. Yep in real life, if clearing one building your going in with plenty of flashbangs and close cooperation in your squad, but if you are in house to house clearing fibua situation you just ain't gonna be able to physically carry enough ordinance to maintain that method...so different strategies come into effect. I believe you have an overinflated opinion of how effective a frag grenade is...good for one room , but it's the enclosed concussive force rather than explosive force that's doing the damage...I wouldn't want to risk pitching one up a flight of stairs, to take out the shooter at the top, high prob. Of Miscalculating trajectory and it rolling back down...

I bit strange that normal players moved so much in open. At least when we played paintball in the 90s people tryed to stay in cover as much as possible.

Btw, IRL, you'd shoot through a lot of the concealment spots, right? Like, at 4:38 in the bathroom, if someone saw your shadow move through that glass, they'd just open fire, right? Same with the dudes peeking around the corner downstairs - you could shoot through an inch of wall, so you wouldn't actually need to wait until they've rounded the corner, right? Cheers mate, glad to see you guys had fun! :)

I’ve watched a few of these airsoft videos. No one pulls security, they cluster in rooms and hang out in the open.

this is so staged. Sure the 2 are skilled, but 50 people, noobs or not, will eventually pin them down! These 50 just didn't even try.

It seems these are not airsoft players but just random guys playing for the first time. But it shows quite comprehensively the difference between professional soldiers and conscripts.
