The production on this is pretty epic. The camera angles and scenes from the cinematic shots are definitely true to the "cinema" portion. There are a few instances where an enemy is captured on a cam prior to that area being breached that gives you just enough time to wonder how the team will react (predictably amazing). 10/10.

@@asdfgidji879 the general purpose of what they're doing is to move from 1 side of the building to the other, without leaving any unsearched rooms behind them. There is a line of scrimmage in the building. While moving every decision they make is based on getting the most visual information as possible while concealing their physical presence. A great example is "slicing the pie" when passing a doorway, window, etc, you aim at the corner as you sweep so that as soon as something can see you, you're already aiming at it. From there some basics are dont stand in front of closed doors, dont cross infront of your mates gun, maintain situational awareness.

@@snazzynasty1493 AI can already do that if it wanted. The reason you don't see it in FPS is because there's no competition there, a computer merely wins on brute force. It "sees", "responds", and "acts" immediately -- Making our "immediate" look like years. Some cool places to see examples of this is AI being used in Starcraft 2 and Dota 2. A way that some of these tactics would more realistically be applied would look more like these games, where there were limits placed on the computers (to not be able to win against people by brute force) and emphasize the learning (AI in games is used for learning so that it can be applied in the real world) aspect. In both games, the AI's were able to beat grandmasters and top players *AND* develop new optimization and techniques, which helped the best human players learn and improve as well. For Dota 2, you want to look up OpenAI 5, which will show you a 5v5, 5 individual AI's using teamwork to beat a professional human team. For Starcraft 2, you'll want to look up AlphaStar. AlphaStar was preceded by AlphaGo and AlphaZero, which play at grandmaster levels (the highest level) in Chess, Go, and Shogi. These also helped humans to learn and improve their gameplay, if you dig in this rabbit hole, look up "engine moves", which are moves played that people consider non-human, which is why they've been coined "engine moves". I hope you enjoy the rabbit hole :)

US Army disabled combat vet ( truck was blown up on my 2nd back to back tour in 07) nobody has said it so I will. There is a damn fine reason why they instill the mindset of "slow is smooth and smooth is fast" in training. Muscle memory makes the whole task easier because when your muscles already know the drills you need, your mind is more readily free to communicate and focus. Excellent game play, Id 100% clear rooms with you guys in real life anytime, although I don't think my spine can take it anymore (couldn't walk, then wheelchair, crutches, and had to relearn to walk right with therapy).

Plus this is a more sim like FPS approach (though obviously very imperfect esp with AI 😆) - whereas most of the main FPS pro played games like Counter Strike, Valorant, Apex even R6 are much more twitch shooters in comparison to this game and how your squad is playing it here and how those other mainstays in the pro FPS scene are played at that level competitively. IRL type Tactics, Safety, Tightness are much more favored in this setting, whereas sort of sports play tactics, mouse precision, and reaction time etc are more favored in those other games (and they're free to take more risks and make flashy plays).

@@jasongale3773 body cam footage and the game are both inaccurate representations of IRL since they are fixed and subject to that limitation that only the audience can see. It is really the viewpoint of the camera or the games HUD. Real life is different in that there are more variables we dont see, such as movement of the weapon and eyes, head independently (which we have no control of in game). So in real life, they would be using peripheral vision and lateral awareness to see everything else while focused on the target area, but in this game, periphery doesn't work so they need to "move the gun/crosshair down" to see making us think they are aren' t pointing properly.

Especially when reacting to OC or CS but I can’t knock it too hard because it is a game and what they’ve put in place is the best I’ve seen yet I would love to see some things added. The flash bang is good and all but I want 3 and 9 bangers as well, think like a string of black cats vs an M80( the M80 being the current bang in game) Also does anybody know why the devs don’t allow OC or Tazer to be used while running the shield or why the lights on the shield can’t be turned on for use or strobe? The biggest thing I notice is that there is a whole set of terms for each different action. There is a leader shot calling what needs to happen, and everyone else is communicating concise information to that leader. Every stage is stop, plan, execute, set security, and make a new plan for the next stage, but it happens so fast and efficient there is very little break, but when they need a break, such as to set a wedge in a door, the whole team stops to enable it. Pure efficiency. This feels like what a group of gamers would look like if they had a pause and plan option door kickers style between each stage. That's honestly scary levels of efficiency.

Worked private armed security at a several big hospitals in my area. Majority of us were military and myself was former law enforcement. To quickly and effectively clear a hospital with multiple people, and different avenues of approach is no easy feat. We had a few encounters and shootings at our hospital, we always had law enforcement there too as off duty security so the response was quick. Big city hospitals always had police there also training for things like this. The hospitals i worried about things like this happening were small isolated hospitals that had only 5 cops in the whole area.

He had no connection that we knew of to any patients or staff, probably just had mental health issues or was under the effects of alcohol or drugs. I was lucky not to have anything super crazy happened when I was on shift, but a lot of stuff we dealt with was people trying to gain unauthorized entry to places like labor and delivery, pharmacy etc. We had a woman that was known to law-enforcement and our Security, try to gain entry into labor and delivery and act like she was there to see family, but her intentions they were obviously no good. Were are a busy er and will have to lock down whenever there are gunshot victims and shooters haven’t been caught yet. One time I had to deal a guy who just shot and killed his wife and tried to check in the hospital so the police couldn’t arrest him or so he thought. Wedge = self-explained :P peek/swing door = small/full door open, threshold = opening for others to cover or "plug", tango/suspect = armed badguy, contact = attacking enemy, stack = queue (by a doorway most often), and a bunch more I'm sure :P there's usually different variants (some call it "slicing the pie" when peeking a door for instance) but mean same thing. Peek = Move the door slightly and begin to "pie" the door (i.e. move in an arcing motion to gradually gain more information on the other side of the threshold. Stack = Line up by a threshold to "flow" (move in) through clearing sectors of responsibilities. Point = Lead/front of stack Plug = Secure and hold an area of responsibility Holes = Any openings or thresholds Tap/Squeeze (Depends on SOP) = A tap on shoulder or a squeeze giving positive feedback to point. Originates from rear. Last Man = Literally the last man holding rear security usually. T-Junction = How a corridor is laid out, like a T-Section of a road. Center Fed = A door opening "feeding" into a center of a room. Corner Fed = A door situated on a corner of a room. Deep = Farther out into the room. Tango = Hostile (Tango is phonetic for Target.) Exfil = Exfiltration (To get out of an area) Flashing = A signal "blue" (friendly) is about to exit and for his teammates not to flag him or shoot him. You can also call out "friendlies coming out" Contact Front = Communication where you are taking fire or seeing hostile. On Me = Command signaling you're taking point or you need more guns at your sector of fire Stairs = More difficult to maintain security, one guy will usually hold security for the opposite/non-direction of travel. One thing I noticed is they weren't calling out deadspace, which are essentially spaces that furnitures/objects obstruct your vision. Think under a table or behind a couch.

Nicely done, lads. Just 2 comments from the civilian end of things: Flashbangs in hospitals are a dangerous gamble, because there are oxygen cylinders and oxygen lines *everywhere*. They go boom quite spectacularly. Also a reason why you should consider carefully what weapons to use, bc those walls contain the gas mains - if you're really unlucky, they also have nitrous running right next to them, and that combo makes for a world of pain. (Very, very short pain, tho.) Second, flashbangs can kill kids - who are likely present in a hospital. Stay safe.

This is honestly so excellent. I'm not someone who's intimately familiar with how this sort of thing works in real life but even from my perspective of significant interest but unquestionably limited knowledge, it's impossible to watch this without recognizing genuine professionals at work. A lot of people who know far more than I ever will have said more than I ever could in other comments, but it still really feels like something I want to contribute a voice to, even if what I can say with it might not be especially profound. I genuinely cannot imagine what it would be like to maintain this degree of discipline and courage even in a tense video game, let alone when actual lives are on the line. It isn't new to me to be amazed by this, I've watched similar content, but... I dunno. Again, I can't quite get at something very essential with just words, but I think my biggest takeaway in the end is just... immense respect, which I expected going in, but that doesn't diminish it in any way. I don't know. Honestly, from my perspective, even just the ability to suppress the freeze response in a situation like this feels almost magical. Knowing that it's not, though, that it's absolutely possible for human beings in a mundane world to reach a point like this through hard work, dedication, communication, and so many other things I struggle to put into words... ... Yeah, respect really is the only word for it, even if that one word is still wildly insufficient. Thank you for making this, and thank you for being the sort of people who are both able and willing to risk everything to accomplish similar terrifying but necessary things in reality. As a civilian, all I can do is appreciate it, on a deeper level than I can really get across just through language (and I'm literally a writer). I'm not typically fond of calling people heroic because I think I conceptualize "heroism" in a very different way than a lot of people do, but choosing to go through so much and to wager quite literally everything like this IRL ought to be heroic by anybody's definitions, mine included.

I find their performance commendable. Highly ordered and clear communication. Good angle coverage, careful decision making and decent reflexes. This is a scary team. That being said, many mistakes were made and the map offers too many angles that are unable to be properly covered. I don't see this team surviving against fellow professionals or even against amateurs that are creative with their hiding spots. It just goes to say how incredibly hard and risky this profession is given the advantage of holding the position in such a convoluted space.

@@GLIDGaming ??? No? Sweaty gameplay mainly referring to the game type (for example, Valorant can be highly unenjoyable to a casual player, especially to one not well in-tuned with fps or is playing by themselves) and game style (Comms heavy, one shot one kill meaning if you die you have to wait a long time to retry since there are no respawns etc). Ready or Not falls into that category. I can only enjoy watching it, and that is honestly with my friends playing it, or KZbinrs who fool around trying to be serious (but they aren't). That is how I see it at least. Again though, this video was one of the ways I can enjoy these kinds of games. Pretty funny content.

How does zero hour stack up against the other tactical shooters?
@hunter14435
@hunter14435 Жыл бұрын
@@ll1844 The best way to describe it is Very budget but has a good amount of features in a tactical shooter. Everything you need from a tactical shooter is there, speed adjustment like tarkov, Rappel like R6, Hand on shoulder function that i don't see from other tac shooters. C2 charges for doors and under door camera like ready or not, but EVERYTHING is done on a smaller budget so if you're not one for visceral graphics and really good effects then i will say go for it, otherwise i will say there are 100% better tac shooters you could get if you haven't got them already. Zero Hour can be underrated if you got tons of friends to play it with. Otherwise i say Ready or Not is still better with everything else.

and this is why I love Pros doing their job in videogames, because you get to see in full force display the skills, knowledge, training and teamwork that normally only a few people in every million even know about. The way you move, the way you maintain situational and tactical awareness, and *especially* the way you communicate are all superb, and whilst I would love to hear a breakdown behind some reasoning behind this or that, like e.g. why some of the guys had pistols drawn at times, I still feel like I can walk away from this video having learned things, just watching you cut your angles and move as a single group organism. Honour to you and your bretheren, man, and I hope you're having a good one.

As a gamer I can see that these guys aren't the best of the best when it comes to shooters but it doesn't matter because they all understand what they are doing and they communicate calmly and clearly. 10/10 Will be sharing this as a coaching lesson.
