There is nothing wrong with this property. This is in the city and most condos and homes are vintage. Plus, this is great for a 1st time buyer.

I had my eye on a condo in that area. It was on North Menard. Close to my job and affordable for my meager salary

Enclosed porches be a waist of space in my opinion…. You could do so much more like a in unit laundry room on both floors or even a secondary bathroom … I feel every home should have option for laundry and have no less then 2 rest rooms even if 1 of them is a powder room (in my opinion)

You mentioned this 2 flat was in Austin. I would bet that basement got flooded when that NASCAR race was going on. Remember the city did something and a lot of properties in Austin flooded.
