Yeah never put your thumbs inside the steering wheel. Probably not an issue on a kart but you learn quick enough when your steering wheel tries to break your wrist/hands/fingers lol

invest in a better exhaust for the small cart. There is no point in a better carb if your exhaust is so restrictive.
