You'll never need to use sine/cosine/tangent. If anything only the basic understanding of how the ratios are formed. I.e. they might give you two sides and say "What is the sine of angle A," which would just be a/h.

Hello Mr Hanneson, Is there any way to find nth root of any number in this calculator. I know a method in simple calculator but that method doesn't work on the GRE calculator.

Is there a way to calculate the cube root or powers of the form 1/5 or 1/4 with this calculator??
@GreenlightTestPrep7 жыл бұрын
Great question! the answer is yes (to finding the fourth root - aka raising to the power of 1/4). If you want to find the FOURTH ROOT of a number, then you can use the SQUARE ROOT button twice. For example to calculate the FOURTH root of 625, first find the SQUARE root of 625 to get 25, and the find the SQUARE root of 25 to get 5. So, the FOURTH root of 625 is 5 Cube roots are fifth roots are a different matter. You'll have to forgo the calculator for those kinds of questions.

my CE entry button does not do what you are sharing, as followed in your video.... I entered 32 + 74, pressed CE button, then inputted 71, and pressed = button. Nothing happened. 103 did not appear, rather 71 just stayed. What am i doing incorrectly?

What about the power to key? So if a questions was "What is 45^3?"
@GreenlightTestPrep7 жыл бұрын
There is not exponent button. To calculate 45^3, you'd need to enter 45x45x45=
