Oh my god. Thank you so much. I’ve set up for my first grind one Layton for whitetail and I have about 45 - 50 zones and I’ve been shooting large herds but not getting respawns and I thought I had a bunch of undiscovered zones they were getting sucked to. Thank you for mentioning this thing with the respawns in large herds.

Is there a particular reason you hunt Layton over Revontuli? I've heard that Revontuli is supposed to be the better whitetail map, but I've only ever seen you hunt Layton. Oh, and congratulations on your recent success with these two great ones and I hope you get the rack you're hoping for. You have inspired me to keep trying on my red deer grind and I got the Great One two days ago because of it. Thank you.

The mosin is more realistic now with that animation, as you wouldn't be able to look through the sight as you operate the bolt, due to it going straight up vertical and blocking the sight.

I got a great one whitetail deer today in layton lake. The crazy thing is i was just trying to find my zones and where to put my tents and found a great one at a lake i went to my first time. I had killed maybe 40 deer in my map. And as a cherry on top there was a piebald next to it.

what if you dont have all your zones? Would deer respawn in an undiscovered drink zone? or will they only respawn in drink zones you already have found. Took a break from my whitetail grind and started bird hunting on R.Coast and found a heard with a couple level 2's i never knew was there. So i was wondering if its possible for them to respawn anywhere. Also i never deleted any zones either.

Yes they can respawn in undiscovered zones. Also they can create new zones as you grind. And even if you don't discover a zone those deer are still on your map at all times so there's a chance you just never found that herd

Still grinding for my first whitetail great one… got the red deer and the moose, but the whitetail is hard. However, shot a diamond melanistic whitetail today. A really beautiful trophy.

I don't think herd management helps GO to spawn, even though I use herb management myself, my GO Moose have spawned between 190-3200 kills
