I am opening 2 hobby boxes and 1 FOTL (1st/First Off The Line) box of the new 2023/24 Panini Origins Basketball for our next collectible sports trading card pack unboxing/product review! These boxes have an SRP of $150 but resell in the high $200 range (FOTL sells in the $600 range). Every box contains 1 7-card pack (12 box cases). Expect 1 autograph, 1 auto or memorabilia jersey relic card, 1 insert, and 2 parallels per box. FOTL boxes contain 1 exclusive autograph (Purple /18 or Swirl /3) and 1 exclusive parallel (Purple /16 or Swirl /3). These boxes come with chances at pulling beautiful space-themed rookie cards of Victor Wembanyama, rookie patch autos of the top players from the 2023 NBA Draft class in their NBA jerseys, ultra-rare SSP Tiger Eyes case-hits, rare booklet autographs (RPA & multi-signed Six Star), new SP Base Variations, 1/1 Black parallels, various SP inserts (Cosmic Storm, Originals, Dawn, Roots of Greatness), various SP/SSP parallels (Gold, Green, Red, Tessellated, Blue, Neon Stripes, Orange, Turquoise), prime/super prime mem cards (Nike Swoosh, Team Logo), on-card autos of the NBA's top rookies/stars/legends/HOFers (Universal Autographs, Elevation Signatures, Caligraphy, Private Signings), rookies of Wemby, Brandon Miller, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Scoot Henderson, Keyonte George, Ausar Thompson, & Amen Thompson, and more! I love Origins but hate the price point. The price point makes it an annual hard pass for me across all sports. I’d be in at $60 max per box.

@@JokeyouDown I can see where he's coming from with 60 though. All the top signers don't sign with panini and that's 2 of the 7 cards. The chances of you making your money back or even close is very unlikely. I think $60 is closer to the worth than 300 it's insane for what this product is.

I think 3 packs per box would be the sweet spot for the price... I really like the cards and the parallels honestly look better than many other products, but yeah, price point is a bit OTT.
