Even if I won the Powerball, I wouldn't buy them at $1,500 a box. Cheapest I seen them is about $1,200, still ridiculous. Taking a loss 95% of the time. It would have to be a huge card just to break even.

I love me some Packman baseball! Those Trea Turner and Corbin Carroll were nasty. I normally love Topps baseball products because you're more likely to get bonus hits than missed hits, and you're getting closer to your box value on average. Dynasty, though -- man it's hard to get even half your cost back. Dynasty and Sterling are probably Topps two biggest biscuit riskers -- you can definitely hit a massive nuke, but you need a lot of luck. Still loved watching this though, and really hope you go through with the baseball plans you mentioned for the next couple weeks. Counting down to opening day! Lots of fun sets coming up, too -- Topps Tribute drops next week for something spicier, and Heritage and Big League are on the way for cheap fun rips. Probably not something you'd open on the channel, but I love picking up a few boxes of Heritage every year. You can usually get them for like $90, the real one autos are always on card and look great, the patches are always game used, and all the gimmicks / variations are fun.

Really like this set! I got lucky enough to get into a group break for serial numbers and got a ohtani. Really like the gamble of the box and the cards look so nice. This WBC was one of the best all time with a lot of interest so you gotta love seeing those game used memorabilia from that series.
