@@tp5561They don’t offer it for hygiene reasons. Scratching can break the skin and transfer bacteria from nails to skin and vice versa. One of the first things you’re taught in massage school is not to scratch clients. However the benefits outweigh the cost imo 😅

I read some comments posted by massage therapists that when they are trained… that they had to avoid scratching because of sensitive skin on clients… and the hand techniques are designed for both avoiding scratching, as well as avoiding repetitive stress injury for the therapists.

@@tp5561 Massage therapists aren't actually meant to scratch clients for hygienic reasons like the spread of bacteria from fingernails to skin. One of the first things therapists are taught at massage school is not to scratch during a massage.
