Ever since I was s child I curl up on the bathroom floor and wait for my bath to run. Or in the hallways listening to someone else. Even as an adult can't sleep or upset the bathroom floor . idk why this makes me feel... safe. I have this sense of solace, listening and being in my own vulnerable skin. The gentle reverb of the enclosed space, with the consistent stream of the water encases your body, water sheeting in every direction as droplets and steam obscure your vision. The sudden goosebumps as your lather your hair, as if bathing under a waterfall of pure serenity..;

I love warm showers. When the water is neither too hot nor cool, but warmish hot. Letting it hit my neck and run down my body is so relaxing. It makes me feel safe and taken care of.
