As someone who is not a Mainer, but has lived in Maine for well over a decade now, all of these stories sound very legit except for the one with the park ranger, who was far too close to maybe being helpful to actually exist in the state of Maine.

Thanks to the descriptions of places in the stories "Murdered by Alien Orders" (1:21:42) and "The Halloween Tree" (1:30:45) , it was possible to find out the locations of events. The city and the lakeside camp. And found the same Halloween tree - a large oak (it's on Google Street View in 2011). But apparently just after 2014 or 2015 it was completely cut down, probably because of children's ghosts...

SOMEONE SAID IT! I went to Loring Job Corps (about a decade ago) and they told us the base was shut down as well! So, there is NOTHING to do out there if you can't afford a taxi to Presque Isle or Caribou (if you're in JC it's highly likely you cannot). So we get a day pass and explore right? WRONG if you come up on the wrong area you'd get confronted by men in uniform holding automatic weapons saying that section is off limits. Def. not completely shut down. This is the first I have heard of car work going on up there, but I never saw any cars being worked on in my time. I'm just excited that I'm not the only one that is suspicious about it!
