there's also audio mixing issues (and I've heard people get crazy ads if they don't have premium or adblock installed on their phone) so i don't think I'll ever use these in bed either.

I think this is an amazing video concept! Personally though, I'd prefer a different approach to the background music. Upbeat or loud music makes it a lot harder for me to stay asleep. Maybe having more chill music played at a steady, quiet volume would be better? Regardless, great videos and facts!

i’ll never forgive yall for all the hate toon link and wind waker got upon release
@theSato5 ай бұрын
@@Bigchung99 it was understandable. wind waker should have come after TP, because it was such a long wait and such a departure (not just the art style but the overworked, navigation, tone etc.) windwaker would have had better immediate reception if it wasn't "the" nextgen zelda for so long.
@lilwavesz8 күн бұрын
@@theSatoespecially as a follow up to Ocarina of time, the levels of ‘realism’ and detail in that game, even just the more blended shadows and darker colors, all made windwakers cartoonish style seem cheap and lazy, almost. either way the art style is super beloved now, hopefully the devs all got to see the shift

About the zig-zagging when sailing thing: I find it surprising that this is not common knowledge in an island nation like Japan , but is known by all Americans simply because that tidbit of information gets thrown into every history lesson about Columbus' voyages hundreds of years ago. At least that's my experience, it wasn't mentioned in science class like in the context of aerodynamics, just a little aside in history class that wasn't even on any test. Also, I was curious, so I looked this up, and apparently, sailing is not very popular in Japan compared to using powered watercraft. I guess this makes sense since the country is home to some of the biggest manufacturers of such vehicles.

"It would've taken 10 years to make a realistic Zelda..." Right... that's why they were able to do it in just a few years after they saw how badly fans wanted it compared to WW. Those conversations after WW's reveal must've been awkward. Miyamoto was right, and everyone else really hurt the GC's perception at the time, regardless of how good the game was.
