+maxg14 It sent me down a path of a lifelong interest and appreciation for this sort of sound, lots of which I put up on my own KZbin page. Producing ambient sound such as this has turned into a huge hobby of mine and as far as I recall this video was my first introduction to one of this sort. Bravo for your great video :D!

I discovered this youtube video about 6 months ago with 1 semester left in my college career. Some hippies were playing music outside while I was trying to finish a paper. This video has saved many hippies lives and boosted my GPA greatly from playing it while I work. And for this, myself and I am sure the hippies thank you.

I have been diagnosed with hypersensitive hearing in an abnormal range of frequencies as well as Hyperacusis, and trust me, there is a difference between brown noise and "TV static." The difference for me is between excruciating pain and relaxation. Despite the comment squabble, I'd like to thank you for this loop. Some people may not hear it, but the baritone and bass tones in this edit are especially rich, and the static blending is the highest quality I can find. Take my word. Very nice work.

Wow, wasn't sure what to expect at first... you're right this is pretty nice, just the right kind of background noise that sinks into the edge of your awareness and doesn't distract you from anything else. Gonna have to try this sometime I work much better with something going on in the background, an AC unit or wind or whatever. Pure quiet just makes me annoyed and apprehensive.

@WTF1920 Calm, fan-like, sounds are usually the best for relaxation. Not a person out there couldn't be relaxed by the sound of a calm running fan. Having no rise in pitch, volume, or drop. Just a steady, calm, breeze sound. I find it very relaxing, i fell asleep to this yesterday.

I have to have my fan on to fall asleep at night. It's extremely calming and relaxing; not to mention it blocks out the sounds of my neighbors dog barking.

I've been struggling with insomnia and have been playing a lot of white noise videos and have. My box fan on high to try to drown out any obnoxious noises, including my doofus dog that is scared of the dark...he howls and barks at every little noise all night long....LOUD...I also have a cat who caterwauls all night, every night, and I won't put him outside for fear of something happening to him. It's torture every single night! Something about this vid makes me fall asleep really fast and for a couple hours, not even realizing it...just a couple hours gone-no waking up every 5 minutes, no weird dreams, just a little bit of happy sleep-finally! I just discovered you have 3 of these, which is awesome! Thank you!!! My only problem is that I use my iPad for it, and the volume isn't high enough...is there any way you can make the volume higher, and maybe possibly could you make this an 8 or 10 hour video? That would be AWESOME... :)))))))))))
@maaaxsvideo9 жыл бұрын
Just download it and set it to play again! And about the volume, I think is pretty high already, change you headphones/earbuds, I use the apple earbuds and is really high volume.
@amybeth57769 жыл бұрын
+maxg14 I don't know how to download videos...I moved this summer and now I can't find my little notebook with all my passwords in it, so I can't download any apps from the Apple Store :((((((( I can't sleep with headphones on, because I sleep mostly on my side, and I have never used any earbuds that didn't feel uncomfortable an immediately fall out of my ears...and even if I did use them, I have no idea where they are, just like my passwords notebook. I made a playlist of several white noise videos and I've got this and the other 2 in order and of all my playlist, something about these specific videos make me fall asleep fast. After these 3 finish playing, I have a static tv white noise video that blasts me right out of my sleep (and bed! ha! ha!). If I try to add a video to my playlist that's already in my playlist, it removes the video...it doesn't allow me have the same video more than once, unless it happens to be named something different. Aaarrrrgghhh! It sucks to be me! 😖

1080p actually does give better audio quality due to youtube's audio encoding or compression of the file. Basically as you increase the resolution of the video the sound file that youtube is playing to you changes. It switched to a higher quality version of the audio file.You can look it up if you don't believe me.

the reason why this is so theraputic is because in your mothers womb this was prettymuch all you heard for 6-7 months, before you could pick up other sounds more clearly. this psychologically gives you a sence of security and peace. you can get this sound from a white noise machine, and just sit and relax to it, you may fall asleep.

popcorn noise Solid-state physics. Noise primarily found in integrated circuit audio amplifiers that exhibit a sizzling, frying hot-grease kind of sound, similar to popcorn popping. Found to be due to manufacturing defects in the form of metallic impurities in the junctions, often caused by dirty fabrication lines. The frequency spectrum typically conforms to 1/frequency-squared. See red/brown noise
