Whoever wrote the Creepypasta about the person digging up his friend’s mother’s grave to get a wedding ring apparently didn’t realize that cemeteries don’t just bury coffins. They place the coffins, or caskets, into a cement vault. This prevents the decay from getting into groundwater and such. No way is someone taking a shovel and digging enough to get through the cement vault and into the coffin inside it. No way is that a true story.

I thought the same thing, if it was a great grandmother then they might have been able to dig her up. But there is no way someone that recently died could be dug up with a shovel.

I live a few miles from Lee's Summit, MO. The address in the story does not exist.
