Ever since I was a kid (I’m 35 now) I’ve always listened to my gut instinct. It will never fail you. The human body/mind is absolutely amazing. 🙏🏼❤️
@annie_xo3 жыл бұрын
Agreed. Every time I brushed my gut feeling off, something bad happened. After all, those instincts are what has kept humans alive for all this time.
@mz.jackson3760 Жыл бұрын
Right on. Learning to trust my gut intuition has been the single most important survival skill I've ever adopted, and I am confident it has saved my life on more than a few occasions. The most commonly cited difficulty people often encounter when initially attempting to perfect the craft is learning how to distinguish between their actual first inclination and their "second guess". This task is often quite frustrating and can seem next to impossible to accomplish, however, it is surprisingly quite easy once you get the hang of it. The key to identifying your initial gut reaction lies within the art of detachment. Learning to detach yourself from the result of your mission and instead focusing on being completely immersed within your present breath is the key to meditation. There are many different yoga and pramanamya exercises you can practice which will help you learn how to instantly go into a state of deep meditation, which ultimately helps you become more efficient at gauging your gut reaction and intuition.

Im not saying this story isn’t true, but honestly, I caught up on some hints this story was slightly altered and exaggerated.
@SoCalRegisteredNurse3 жыл бұрын
She should be fired. Totally victim blamed her. His graduation is not her responsibility. It’s his and his parents’. And I wouldn’t say this story is “exaggerated.” My daughter had a girl who harassed her for two years simply because my daughter is the ex gf of her cousin’s now bf. Once the cousin told my daughter that “I’m outside your house” I called the counselor and the sheriff. Haven’t heard from her since. And note, my daughter moved on a long time ago and had a different BF at the time. This cousin was being raised by her aunt, mom is still alive. So that tells me mom was not a very good mom. Also she would follow my daughter on IG and unfollow multiple times, over and over until my daughter blocked her. But like I said, not my daughter’s responsibility for her mental health and being young it’s sometimes hard to gauge dangerous situations. If someone gives you the creeps right of the bat, listen to that intuition.
@ghosttrees53623 жыл бұрын
@@SoCalRegisteredNurse sorry that’s not what I meant. The reason I said exaggerated was because it tipped me off when the girl was describing her looks in the story. She said she was 5’4 and weighed 94ish pounds. If you put that through a BMI calculator, it meant she was VERY severely underweight to the point of it being life-threatening. I’m sure the girl in the story was not. I myself am skinny being 5’1 and 104 lbs. it would make no sense that she would be waaay less heavier than me. I’m sure she meant to describe herself as thin, but that part didn’t make sense to me. I guess you’re right that this thing does happen, I guess the problem with me is that once I picked up that exaggerated part of the story, I got a little skeptical after idk :/

@dustinspeicher33903 жыл бұрын
When that sentence was uttered I exclaimed in confusion, "uhhhh, that could make it an even bigger deal, what are you frigggin' talking about?" Out loud. Believe it or not most people who go on to rape, torture, or take the lives of others, even when that extends to many other's are often times afflicted with "mental health issues". I realize that might be difficult to understand for some people, but it's true. In fact just as surprisingly people of sound mind, composition, & brain chemistry rarely engage in such vile behavior even though the stereotypical "serial killer" is of this type of person.

So we smile awkwardly and say yes to things we don't want to (like giving out phone numbers, meeting up etc.) instead of just saying no, thank you. It's unbelievable! It's okay to say no or shut someone down if they make you feel uncomfortable in any way. ''No thank you, I don't want to''. The story featuring "Brandon" was very frustrating. The girl was the perfect victim, ignoring blatant threats to her own safety, and basically aiding and abetting him while he harrasses, threatens and assaults her, as bad as that sounds. Her family, friend, and school staff are also complicit in what took place. What's really bad is that things like that happen in reality as well.
@alicecarroll29232 жыл бұрын
Nah. If the story was true, she didn't aid and abet. She was a young teen, and the counselor and the teachers responses to him and his behavior reveals the sort of environment she may have only unconsciously been aware of. She knew what she had to do to stay alive. If your teachers allow that sort of behaviour, as a 16 year old girl in that environment, it's not a stretch to assume that the police might too. I was so happy she made it through alive.

Hey! I saw your comment and I wanted to explain her point of view as someone who went through the same thing. She was the perfect victim because everyone but her mom brushed off Brandon's behavior. That happened to me as well when I was severely abused and stalked in high school. The male teacher makes me nauseous, the fact that she had a stake stabbing into her back, and he laughed at her because he thought it was her 'kink." Basically, everyone around her reinforced his abnormal behavior, so it's like a tug of war inside someone's head. Being accused of overreacting by authority figures who were supposed to keep you safe really messes you up psychologically. I don't mean this in an angry tone btw, I just wanted to speak about her point of view because I've gone through similar, I hope this is helpful 😊

I had a miscarriage when i was 19, she was a little girl and throughout life ive seen different psychics who have told me about this beautiful little girl with blonde curly hair who is always next to me, the child they see always fits the age she would be at the time. I lost my dad in 2015. In 2018 i lost my twins, a boy and a girl. I seen a psychic not long after who told me about my oldest daughter. She looked confused for a second and said 'are you supposed to be pregnant right now?' I said yes. She smiled and said 'your dads here, with your twins and your little girl, hes keeping them safe so dont worry' i had never cried so hard in my life. She gave me so much peace in life. People can say what they want about psychics, even if they are exaggerating or faking it, i dont care. They give people like me a comfort and some closer during the darkest times in life and im so grateful for that ❤

Girl in the first story did report it to the school and her aunt knew he was a CREEP! Why didn’t they do anything and the teacher catching him with a knife and just laughs about it? WTF!?! AND his own mother knew too! WTF? Reminds me of my time in Junior High and what happened to me was worse, physically I mean. But I don’t feel like talking about it now.

Am I the only one that is pissed off at Ms. Annies grandson for not being more proactive with Mark the murdering handyman??? 😲 It sounds like they lived in the same town.. The second Mark started his scowling and non-gratitude things should have been dealt with... like fire his ungrateful @$$!! First failed chance to save her life... He let hat go for way too long... Second failed chance to save her life... Ms. Annie told him that Mark's anger scared her...he should have been at her house the very next day confronting and firing Mark and changing Ms. Annies locks.. telling her to call police if he ever showed up at her house again... He waited for Friday and had a polite chat with a bitter man-child... and he thought that was going to magically fix the issue.. 😳 Third failure all together.. Calling and getting no answer TWICE in one day and then waiting to try again the next day.. no answer and calling police to vo do a welfare check... REALLY!!! I would have left work on the first missed call to go check on her calling the police on the way just in case... Finding out she was murdered.. my first thought would have been Mark!! He gave Mark all the time to run and hide across country.. 😒 Its actually amazing and I just grateful that the police found him at all! Poor Ms. Annie.. 😪💔

Knowing and feeling that someone is staring at you is not “✨being an empath✨” it’s a basic instinct all living beings have lol. People need to understand the words they use.
@Brooklyntrash10 ай бұрын
💯 agree. So many people claim to be empaths when they don’t even really know what the word means. And just listening to that girl’s story, you can tell there’s nothing “empathic” about her.

Seriously, the girl in the first story should have gone to the police. Her life is more important then him going to school. Even if you don't think the police will take it seriously, you should at least make a report in case something bad happens. Also she should have mentioned something to his parents. She was sort of a stupid girl. Why didn't she tell her parents? Parents usually take this stuff seriously. I was a little annoyed with this story.

I stop feeling sorry for people like that. I've listened to too many stories. She didn't want help, clearly. What was bad, though, was that she left it so he can have future victims because she didn't report him.

The girls from the Brandon story literally listens to let's not read. Yet still let that go that far she should of went to the police the first time he grabbed her and said he was gonna abduct her. Also never go to the guidance counselor go to the principal.
