Its nice to hear some Arthur Fields in the mix, his WW1 are abundant. "Lets Bury the Hatchet" is among my favorites. My grandfather was a Lieutenant in the Army air corp, a pilot and signal officer in WW1. I have his records, a few I've posted on my victrola, like Over There by Arthur Fields and Enrico Caruso. Lovely video, enjoyed the ambiance very much.

POV: the Great War has been raging on for a year. Your only son is out fighting in the trenches; although you keep faith that he will return - the haunting thoughts of his death in battle reaching you haunt you morning, noon and night. The only thing you can think of to stop the dark thoughts is to listen to music for as long as you can. All the while, you're silently praying and begging to God that he delivers your boy home safe to you.
