WW1 Distant Battle Ambience | War Sounds

It’s 1917 on the western front during WW1. You’ve just heard the order from the commanding officer to go over the top of the trenches and into no man’s land hoping to capture one of the enemy positions. The trench whistle blows, you climb over, with your lee Enfield rifle firmly gripped, hands trembling and you make a run across the field as a barrage of machine gun fire starts followed by more artillery from multiple directions. Almost all the troops are gunned down leaving you and one other soldier ducking and diving under heavy fire. You are desperate and frantically looking for a way out. Luckily you and your partner escape the gunfire and now have to navigate through the treacherous fields to safety. Explosions near and far and distant artillery are constant. It’s wet and muddy with bouts of heavy rainfall and the night has just began. Will you survive.. good luck

I graduated from the mild war school in Turkey in 2014 and started my duty as a lieutenant. My first task was to secure a village raided by terrorists in Syria, we got on the helicopter in the morning and they left us on top of a mountain, my team was a special team of 15 people. And this is my first landing on the field, I'm unfamiliar to everything, I was seeing bones between some stones, human bones, leg ribcage bones, we were officially left in an area washed by blood. I was suppressing the excitement inside me, I trained the fear, I could do it. In the evening, we came near the village where the terrorists raided, we took refuge in a corner, first of all, we analyzed the region from the map and made a plan to get a position correctly. We planned that we would enter the village with the first lights of the day around 05.00 in the morning. We waited in the freezing cold on a mountain all night, we couldn't make a fire because we didn't want our place to be clear. We raided the village in the morning, but we learned that they left the village 1 day before we arrived. We gathered in the village square at around 6 o'clock after checking everywhere, when we entered the mosque of the village, we saw that all the village people were executed, they killed all of the innocent people in the mosque. Child, woman, old, young. They killed everyone without saying... As Tim, we promised ourselves a promise at that moment, we will find those who did these and we will finish them at the end of 3 days of track follow-up and research in that region, we found their lair, we shattered them all, I have never been more happy in my life. I was happy not because I killed them, but because these terrorists could no longer kill innocents. I hated weapons and blood every second of my life. My only goal before entering military life was to protect the innocents, preventing children from dying... and I did this in my first duty, it was my honor, there are many countries that support terrorists in the region. America is sending them free weapons, bombs, ammunition all over Europe. The only neutral country in the east is Turkey, the only army there is the Turkish army so that the innocents do not die, children, women and people do not die. The West just wants not to see all this and not to end this bloody massacre. I am a civilian citizen living in Turkey now, I had to resign as a result of the accident I had, these sounds reminds me of the hours I slept on the mountain and I sleep more comfortably. I still see photos of the brutality in the east on my phone. No war will be neutral... but what happens in Syria in the east is not a war, but a massacre, and it is only Turkey… Thank you to the people who read this, I hope I added something to you, best regards.

Falling asleep to this video, it is interesting to imagine how Remarque, Aldington, Tolkien and other representatives of the "lost generation" who fought on the Western Front felt. I would very much like wars to remain only on the pages of history textbooks, and people fell asleep to such videos, knowing that armed conflicts remained in the distant past. Hey thank you for the comment. The creative process starts with the initial concept, which is either done on photoshop, or stock image or collaboration with art station artists. I then add visual effects in using software such as Final Cut Pro and then the long part which is the sound design which I do in logic pro . I record and put together all the sounds from scratch which is very tedious and time consuming but comes out great in the end. March 15th 1915. Quite a heavy downpour of rain last night, made the trench very muddy underfoot. Bailed out the water using our helmets.There is a German position near the manor house that overlooks our position. Also a lot of bitter fighting over the manor house, Germans are not making it easy on us one bit. We give as good as we get though, we saw the German trench get shelled, they begged us to stop. The French have taken the woods to the West of us and the Canadians are just ahead of our position. We're waiting on General Wilson to get ready before we make the push against the manor house. It will be my turn for guard duty soon. Private Gordon told me to keep an eye out for the German that keeps wandering up to us under a white flag and asking for cigarettes. I guess British cigarettes really do taste better than German ones.

I know it's nit picking, but the airplane sounds were WW2 planes, not the popping buzzing sounds of the slow moving WW1 fighters. WW1 airplane engines when running correctly sound like they are running wrong. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fqKaaY2lmLR0obs The machine gun sounds like a Maxim, ALL sides used them in WW1, hell even into WW2 and after they turn up even today.
