Yes, especially if it’s like you stated, deep content with spectrum from first race to pro race program. I’ve recently started racing nitro 1/8 OR. With so many new factors and variables it’s hard to know what to focus on. What makes biggest immediate improvements, and how to best increase understanding for better long-term prospects. In Sweden (IMO) most active nitro racers are quite competitive with many years of experience, so I need to do some leap-frogging to catch up a get in the fight 😅

Topic suggestions: - How to approach practice and setup (beginner/intermediate) when competing at a unfamiliar track. - Hot to adjust/improve tune during a busy race day. - in depth tactics for avoiding technical issues, and surprises during a race day. Or avoiding stressful situations before your heat. From what I’ve seen a majority of racer’s result suffers (qualification or finals) from some kind of failure/issue and/or loosing focus in associated with stress-repairs or unidentified gremlins.

I love these videos JQ. Your delivery is on point, your explanations are tidy and concise, you repeat or highlight specific examples of a concept or behavior that you're explaining but you don't beat the horse to death. As much as is needed but no more than is necessary and you move the topic along which keeps it interesting. Seriously top notch driver's content. 10/10.

Excuse me JQ, but also HB has 2° and 4° KPI option parts, in addition to the 0° default KPI. My E819 has this since the beginning. So, are we talking about the same stuff or am i missing something? Anyway i can 100%confirm all the KPI inclination stuff. My local track is a little tight and bumpy track on astro / moquette, on outdoor. In summer is grippy like hell, in winter is loosing like a soap glass. So we runs pratically in a complete different situations all over the year. I keep my HB with 0° (tried the 4° and the 2°, pros and cons...) and in grippy-fast days is harder to drive and to keep your favourite line, nervous car and it wants flip over. Difficoult but still potentially fast. In loose-slow situations it's simply a rocket compared to the guys with Sworks and Mugen. It runs almost "on rails" when others really struggle to find grip or just keep the normal line (using the same tires almost all of us).

Main thing I've been wondering: 1/8 buggies over the years have gotten longer shocks, taller shock towers. (especially in the rear). what's the pro's/con's to longer vs shorter shocks, and at what point is it too tall?
@invisiblespeedrc

Im against this development. You are adding weight and raising the CG. Both things are against my religion. I think the reason is the cars land better and handle bumps better? I think there are other ways to do this. Im working on other ideas.

I am going to have him watch some of your videos.... he is racing 1/10 4wd now this year...and ordering his first 1/8 buggy kit this weekend... Question....in the part of the video where you're driving the 2 cars, what is the other track in the background, a separate track just for 1/10....?

@@invisiblespeedrc not sure why I just got a notification today and not 3 months ago... but I went to the link and looked over what is in the course, price, etc... Here is my thoughts. I have bought some other online trainings, for a different hobby. One was pretty cheap I felt at $99USD(I would have to look to see the conversion to euros). It was comparable in scope to your basic course I guess. Another I felt was fairly expensive, not quite as much as your full course, but it also was something that grows over time and has been through 3 or 4 revamps where videos have been redone to add to them, update with fresh info, added sections, bonus content added with collaboration from other experts, etc... I would say this... the basic course looks like pretty good content for someone totally new. The full course looks like it will be great to grow with someone who is SERIOUS about the hobby... as they grow in the hobby/sport, so does the course, etc... One thing that hooked me and made it possible for me to purchase the more expensive course, was the ability to purchase it in more than one installment, instead of paying the entire price up front...it has grown a lot and is now even more expensive, so the payment option I think has added another installment. I would say this, if you aren't finding that the course is getting enough participation, maybe think to make the basic one like $49US, and the Full course like $149 or maybe $200... but possibly offer it to be paid in 2 or 3 installments? That would make it easier for some people to be able to join if they like the content but otherwise can't afford a few hundred dollars at once... as the course grows in content and scope, maybe add $50 to the price, and another installment, or... ? But take ME for example, I think my son is well beyond the basic course, but I do think the full course could maybe help him in a few ways, learning more about working on his own kits, suspension tuning, etc... however, there is no way I could pay that amount at once, nor would I do so for a limited term of access to a growing but as of now incomplete course.... that is the main flaw I see in what I found on the website.... it shows more modules coming, which is AWESOME to see that the course is evolving... but the site also says access is limited to a certain amount of time. The courses I HAVE bought, were lifetime memberships, and early adopters get full access to new content as it is added. I think basically early adopters helped fund parts of the expansion, and now it has grown to something very awesome, with well known people worldwide having been added in collaborative additional content...etc... they also offer a money back guarantee , if you heck it out and find it isn't for you or you don't feel it's worth it, you have a period of time to look inside and either keep it or ask for a refund. Maybe think about making memberships lifetime and not expire after 1 or 3 years. Just my personal input, if it was a lifetime membership, with say 3 payments of $50, I would definitely give it much more consideration... if you'd like to know more about the courses I have bought for another hobby/profession, let me know....that site has grown over the last 10 or so years to have multiple courses, employees, thousands of students, etc... maybe they could give you some insight that you could ponder or adapt into your approach, that could help your endeavor gain similar success... I really do like your KZbin videos and the way you present information is good, so I wish you great success... Cheers

Joseph, is there a way in the radio settings (generally speaking) for the steering to be set so that for a pillow ball style car, as you say that after initial turning one then has to compensate and turn back a bit, can the radio be set for the steering to be progressive towards that point of compensation? Sort of like a shock where it gets progressively harder as it compresses? Or could there be some sort of steering damper?

Hello JQ, can you please confirm if the JQ brand is done (will there be new releases in the future)? There is a lot of speculation, but haven't seen any definitive answers. Just a lot of "stay tuned". If JQ will expire, what manufacture would you recommend JQ drivers move to that is similar in driving style as the black edition? Talking with Beach RC, seems there is only about 6 months to a year of parts inventory for the current black edition. Really appreciate the guidance here.
