Ok, so I am wanting to do a rosemary, sage, garlic olive oil, how would you go about that?

Hmmmm, I haven't tested out a hot infusion for sage or garlic, so I'm not quite sure! You'll need to watch the garlic to make sure it doesn't burn with the hot infusion. I think the sage would work similar to the rosemary though. Just taste it along the way because sage is strong and you might not need to do the process 3 times. Let me know how it turns out if you try it!! Good luck 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@HomebodyEats I was thinking of hot infusion garlic and then I saw a video saying that if you leave the garlic in the oil or if you don't use it quick enough it could grow botulism. Know anything about this? I was thinking of just doing a cold infusion of it all honestly.

Yes, with any type of oil infusion (cold or hot) you want to be careful to avoid botulism. I have a little more about it, along with my cold garlic infusion method on my website. That might be helpful! homebodyeats.com/infused-garlic-oil/

@HomebodyEats thank you! I saw that and immediately became nervous on making my own oil because it's not time to die. Especially over a stilly thing like unintentional botulism! (I hope you see the dark humor here) I will certainly look at your info. I want to do this and do it right. And honestly I am not doing it for the flavor as much as I want the benefits of garlic, rosemary, and sage in my diet.

Thank you! I used the hand blender, but it was not the same result.

Heating the rosemary multiple times is really the key to the amazing flavor 😊
