I think better public awareness on propper handwashing is key here. That way only water and not filth gets on the dryer which would simply evaporate, combining this with daily cleaning/sanitising should mean no problems.

The dryers get dirty because you don’t change the HEPA filter.

Gross!!! It's poor design by Dyson. When you dry your hand the water sits in there. If the janitor isn't informed on how to clean them properly, yikes. Dyson has a hand dryer that doesn't collect the water and features their healthy HEPA filter so hopefully those are more recognised as I still feel Dyson can make a quality product but this is gross and ultimately their fault.

It's ok to use those dyson air blades, just sanatize those dryers regularly

I hope the Dysons that were removed at Lutheran General and Fox Valley Mall were replaced with other hand dryers and not paper towels.

I've never been there but some people like a choice. Also it's very annoying when 1 places only install one at the ADA required height even if they have room for more than one. Hate slouching down in order to activate it regardless of what model it is. While more expensive there are sustainable portal options available like bamboo. If someone has a bandaid on their hand those hand dryers feel like they're about to rip it off not pleasant and doesn't matter what brand it is.
