The SEC is just "it", i live and always have, in an ACC market,,, used to be Great Basketball area, but the SEC is just the Sun, draws in everything, best athletes, prettiest girls, best Coaches, traditions, it has it all-- now they have a team, not highly ranked before,,, just killing it with a future MLB star--- You are great SEC,,, no way around it.. even the Pac 2 has to admit it...

Other than Gater Fans (& probably their SEC haters), some may not recall who the Bayou Bengals (LSU for the Non-SEC Folk) defeated in order to raise the 2023 Natty last year at the CWS. Hint, they were the only 2024 CWS team NOT ranked with a Top 16 seed. SEC, FJB, SEC, FJB!

@@alexortiz1971 how is aTm the more "seasoned" team? UF was literally last year's CWS runner-up. They played for an NC this time, last year. It's anyone's game and pretty balanced.

@gvilleboy352 because Florida lost alot of core people from that team last year. 9 freshmen pitchers this year. Langford, Rivera, Riopelle, Sproat, Abner, Waldrep, Nesbitt are all gone. Florida is the younger team so by default A&M is the more seasoned team. The freshmen have developed well but it's still asking alot of these kids. They could just a easily get nervous or be lights out on the mound. Like I said, anyone's game. I want Florida to win, Go Gators but we can only ask so much from the freshmen at this stage. Hopefully they deliver but we shall see, we can't get mad if they make mistakes at the end.

@@alexortiz1971 60+ games into the season, they aren't freshmen anymore. The problem with Fla's season has been all those damn Ks. A record number of them. I fault the "hitting" coach for not being able to teach free swingers how to adapt. Tn doesn't do it. FSU either. Somebody is taking money he hasn't earned,. The upside. . all those pitchers coming back are going to be much, much better. Ship Kurland out, find a couple of quality bats and the Gators are right back where they're used to being

@michaelwolf6424 60+ games doesn't compare to Aggies 150+. They may not be "freshmen" in your mind but they are still 18 year old kids with all eyes on them in this big stage. If they are stonecold killers and they actually play lights out tonight and tomorrow, you won't hear me complaining. All I'm saying is that it's still a tough ask regardless. Also you're high if you're saying to Ship out Kurland, dude was Freshmen All-American and First-Team All SEC last year. The batting coach has been our saving grace both last year and this year. Jac breaking the all-time and UF being a high batting average team proves that
