I’m Tarheels by birth and 63 yrs old, that was a helluva game win or lose. I know it was heartbreaking for LSU fans but y’all are the defending national champs!! I have been hoping to be able to say that my entire life, my boys lost back to back CWS championship games to Oregon State a while back it was devastating! Y’all have a great program! Wolf Pack fan here congratulating Carolina. I never take a win over The SEC lightly. If you haven't noticed the SEC is about to takeover college sports. I would like to see the ACC stay together in some form, that might mean having to ask Syracuse , Wake Forest and Boston college to leave. It is bewildering for me to see ESPN sit back and watch the ACC take arrows and not even make a statement. Good luck to all five ACC teams in the super regionals.

Although this isn’t the outcome I wanted. I’m proud to say I’m happy how this team overcame after a terrible start at the beginning of sec play. We went from not even having any type of shot of making the sec tournament to making it to a regional and pushing a great UNC team to its limit. This 2024 team was really special when they were able to click in. With this recruiting class coming in. Every LSU fan needs to be excited for the 2025 team cause they just reloaded. To any UNC fan reading this. Yall were the better team tonight. Good luck the rest of the way. Time to root for the SEC to bring another title back.

The home plate umpire had a wide strike zone on the left side for the UNC pitchers. He didn't give LSU the same break. Also, I don't know why Johnson didn't leave Ackenhausin in longer. LSU flirted with fire the last two games, and it burned them finally.

Did you watch the game on Sunday? That guy was brutal and LSU benefitted big time. Altered numerous AB's for UNC. Look at how many lefties UNC has in their lineup compared to LSU. Makes a big difference in how guys ae pitched. That pitch to Jones that just missed in the 10th was a strike all night long Sunday.
