I have watched soooo many over night hair style videos... and mostly I end up with crazy and or frizzy hair. Not to mention many were uncomfortable to sleep in. Your pincurl idea is just perfect! Everyone has Bobby pins and a pony tail holder. Huge volume, takes no time, comfortable, beautiful results. I can't tell you how excited I am! No more crazy hair for me! THANK YOU! ❤ I have short, layered hair-so I put the top up as you do, and pincurl the rest.
@MakeupWearables10 жыл бұрын
@ Hannah V Your comment didn't have a reply button. If your hair is too long (belly button length) and thick, make pigtails instead of a ponytail, but make sure that they're close to the center so you don't end up with a part in the back later. Then just use 2 donuts and do it in 4 sections. :)

Can you give me tips because when ever I try to curl my hair after it get frizzy and does not look cute have any tips :-)
@jasminehaner23519 жыл бұрын
Diana Oliveros you should put the hair oils in your hair or get frizz taming hair mouse or product I use one from the brand Aussie so I would suggest that but you can do whatever
@roses31599 жыл бұрын
Diana Oliveros try putting hair oils in your hair before you curl it AND after you curl it. try not to separate your curls to much, let them loosen up by themselves through out the day

I've tried a lot of no heat/overnight curls and I have to say that your second method, is hands-down my favorite. I have to use a donut instead of an elastic so I don't get a line from the elastic, but otherwise the curls turn out better than any other method: not too tight, not too loose. I've worn them for everyday, to parties and even to a wedding. Thank you!
@elisemarx97638 жыл бұрын
Second method works very well but after weeks of doing it, I found foam curlers in stores and so I put my hair in a ponytail with 3 foam curlers and the result is the same but its easier to do :)
@sobiayaseen6736 жыл бұрын
What are foam curlers?
@sarag67925 жыл бұрын
True have been using those for a year and they're amazing!! However I think the donut is less painful, my hair is getting so long to the point i will wake up with headaches from the ponytail and foam curlers when i put them in 😂
@notacanadian2785 жыл бұрын
@I Was Here they're more comfortable when they're just on top of your head as apposed to all over because your aren't laying on them that way.

So, it came out earlier than I wanted because during my dance workout it started falling out. When I took it out it was really pretty, but then I proceeded to sweat and dance it away :( It left my hair a pretty wavy even after sweating, though. But, I used a gel, so next time I'll try the mousse.

I really like the pin curl method. I have extremely thick hair and it does take me longer to curl my hair because my hair is extremely thick it take 2 and a half days for it to dry. After i towel dry my hair and put in alot of bobby pins I would have it leave them in my hair until the next day for my hair to have pin curls. That means that I have to get up at 4:45 am wash and condition my hair and go back to bed with my microfiber towel on my head for 1 to 2 hours so my hair will be damp enough to put pin curls in my hair. The products that I use are Garnier Fructis detangler and air dry spray with aloe extract. L'oréal smooth intense frizz taming serum and the Garnier whole blends 5 in one detangling spray

Full review of 2nd method for fine, uncurl able hair like mine- I have long hair, a lot of hair, but it's fine. did the pin curl bun and wore it to school it was actually really cute! Got lotsa compliments :) and then I undid the curls for the dance after school and they looked great but the hair at my scalp was flat, straight, fluffy and weird. So I put my hair in a ponytail and wore that... really cute! Curly ponytail for 2 hours and it stayed up, Thumbs up!

When I had really long hair I would put my hair into a pony tail on top of my head and use the little sponge pink rollers and had a little round cotton thingy that had elastic to put over to keep it all together . Your hair looks beautiful--and so do you. The last up-do looks almost good enough to go out! Reminds me of the 30's and 40's. Thank you for sharing these great ideas. UPDATE: I just tried the second version. I have TONS of hair, which makes it very heavy. It was very difficult to insert the bobby-pins (I always had trouble with them); they wouldn't stay. And since I have so much hair, there were too many curls. The result was that after 15 minutes my head was pounding and I just removed the whole thing! I guess you have to be used to wearing ponytails. I can't due to the weight of hair.

if anyone's wondering what size donut she's using, I did the math. If the donut has a 5.5 inch circumference around the tube like she says, that means the diameter/thickness of the tube is 1.75 inches (meaning the donut is 1.75in/4.5cm high), which usually corresponds to the "large" size of donut that's 3.5 inches across! Took me a hot minute to figure that out lol

Ronja D It's probably because you wash your hair too often. Washing your hair too often makes your scalp dry and irritated, if you massage your head with pure oils and wash it less often, your head and hair follicles will get their elasticity back and that means less pain for you and more beautiful hair. =]

I love this idea bc I don't use heat on my hair (it's really long and takes forever to curl, plus I don't want to damage it) but when I put my hair in a ponytail, the elastic always leaves a crease. Any suggestions on how to no heat/overnight curl my hair without using an elastic?

Use scrunchies 😊
@SunnysRoyalSkipper9 жыл бұрын
MaybiPerfect I will try that. I wonder wear I put all my scrunchies from when I was younger and they were the fad

Glad to hear you say that. I have somewhat coarse and frizzy hair (in back, two textures at once :() Have done this, but didn't add the oil at the end when removing. Will try that, but it's possible my hair's just too frizzy.

I have thick hair that is difficult to curl. The Sleep Styler memory foam rollers work wonderfully. Dampen hair, put curlers in, and sleep.

Just a thought-if you've been losing hair regularly, you might want to test for anemia. Hair loss can happen when you're iron deficient (there can be other causes, too, but that's a relatively easy one to test for and "fix" with diet or supplements).
