What a vid!! I have an old Reader’s Digest book called “Scoundrels & Scalawags” that this very much reminded me of. It tells a lot of lesser-known tales of infamy.

Thank you for sharing, Tim! Sounds like a swashbuckling read. Stay tuned as we'll have more in our series about "lesser-known" figures of the frontier!

@FootprintsOfTheFrontier I would really enjoy a video of James "Jimmy" Roberts (1852-1925) He has such an interesting story and I'm sure you'd find lots of information on him!

*5'7" really was not considered short, particularly when the average height for men was 5'"10 - 5'11" back then.* Women's average height was 5'3" - 5'4"., and the average shoe size for Women was a size 5 - 6, now it's 7 - 8, likely pushing 8 - 9.

Actually average height today in USA is 5' 9". Average in 1800s was 5' 6"-7".

I if I see a Cape Buffalo that means I'm hunting in Africa and I would shoot one. Then if it didn't kill me he'd be hanging on my wall!

I like that technology by moving the picture but I believe it's been around for quite a while now anyway you read pretty good pretty well you read well however I don't really want to hear a book on these people if I did I would probably go get the book at the least I would get a audiobook secondly with all that's going on on the screen especially when you use the picture movement I get distracted because I'm looking at every little detail to see how well it's fit together and so I can't really listen to the commentary or the book reading I give you a C-
