I have one of these. These resale prices don't hold. The 6r35 in these are junk, worse the 4r. Sadly once seiko starts on something it would take years to make rectification and correction. A collection of weaknesses of typical Japanese large corp.

Hey mate never had an aftermarket on the 62 MAs so can’t comment, but I think the OEM ain’t bad, it’s solid and has a nice feel to the design, color tone is well done too has the hard coatings so good consistency! I pick it up from a local collector $1350 aud, I think it was a fair deal, local stock, boutique warranty till 2025. Full set pretty mint.

​@@johnrb9397 I have my 143 on the strapcode oyster with the sub clasp. That bracelet is what the watch should have come with. It's solid and there's no play in the end links whatsoever. Get one, you won't be disappointed.

Down under mate 🇦🇺 I tell you what, my love for the 147 has grown even further after the purchasing of 149, don’t let them go. The new release of design is something I personally think they done wrong as a direction and these old Gen will hold value well

@@Felix_love_watches Not for the price you are paying. Its been THE biggest issue with this watch by everyone. They are basically offering a NH35 with a suped up power reserve, for over $1000. Thats...ridiculous. Not to mention, the movement has had issues staying within tolerence for some, which is crazy because its like +/- 30 seconds a day. No, for this kind of money, they should have used a more premium movement. There are other issues with the watch, but the movement is def the slap in the face
