@@copperheadmarine Yeah, having empathy can be a good or a bad thing. Sometimes we feel what others feel just a little too much to the point where we take on their problems like they are ours. And some people take advantage of that. It was really hard for me knowing people were taking advantage of me but still feeling like I needed to help them because I didn't want to change the person that I am. Especially knowing if the roles were reversed, they would have no problem not helping me. I guess I was between a rock and a hard place where it was affecting me in a bad way, so I ended up sacrificing a pretty good chunk of my financial future. But, on the flip side, I have to admit that I have never felt contentment the way I felt it after I left and was able to take life on my own terms. Sounds like you were raised by a pretty good family with a good work and life ethic that taught how you to get the job done. If I remember one of your videos about your early life right, it was get the job done or don't survive in some cases. And, yep, there's nothing like the feeling you get after accomplishing something, especially something that was daunting when you first looked at it, knowing you were able to get the job done.
