I love the dark smokey looks from this palette but would not buy it at full price here in the UK @ £58.00. Got it with discount and points earned for £28.44. Much better deal. I have seen some gorgeous looks from this. I bought the Natasha Denona my dream palette and suffered a severe reaction from it. Thankfully where I bought it from were really good about it and reimbersed me. So I thought I would give this palette a try as it has a similar smokey vibe. Cannot wait to try it out. Love the look and the video by the way. Also thanks for the honest opinion about this palette, very tactfully thought out and voiced. As you say not all palettes are everyones cup of tea and a lot of people love this palette. Quality wise it is still good and you got this across very well. much love and god bless you xx

Yes her small palettes are a different formula. They’re made in China, where her large are made in Italy (at least they were last time I checked). I will say that I have a few of her large palettes (and small as well), and I love some and don’t love others. Rose Quartz might be my favorite palette I own. Or at least one of my most reached for. I highly recommend it. The thing I appreciate about Huda is that at least she tries to press the envelope. She’s always trying new textures and formulas in her palettes. Some turn out well. Others are nightmares (the virus jelly shade in Naughty!? Eww), but at least she tries. I really have become a fan of Huda, which is funny because I really wanted to dislike it (for some reason). Overall, I would definitely recommend trying a few of her palettes just to see. Edit to say: I just got to the end of the video. This might be an unpopular opinion, but I feel like Natasha’s shimmers are unimpressive. Her mattes are to die for, but out of all my ND palettes, I might have 3 shimmers that I enjoy. Huda’s shimmers are way better. Her mattes are not as great as ND, but they are good, and I think you get more shades in a Huda palette. So I’m not offended by Huda charging as much as ND.

I just got this palette in and did a look today. I love the look I did. Like you said we all love different makeup and that’s great. I’m someone who prefers Huda over ND. I’m the opposite from some ppl. I don’t get the excitement over ND. I have tried her smaller palettes & own the bronze palette. I just wasn’t excited about the bronze palette or my smaller ones. I had a conversation with a worker in Sephora who actually felt the same as me. We all have our different thoughts. Nothing to ever get upset about. I never understand that when ppl get angry over not liking a product. I will probably use this palette with others. For deeper shades. No big deal I do it often. Sometimes I’ve used 3 or 4 palettes at once for a look. The two I really love from Huda is the Naughty palette and then the New Nudes.

I'm 52 as well, and I have to tell you when I use Huda shimmers on my lids, they look absolutely stunning! My skills aren't amazing and the looks I do are fairly simple, but I actually thought to myself, my eyelids look really nice with these shimmers. I have Rose Quartz, Naughty Nudes, and Mercury Retrograde. I love them so much, and can't wait to get this one. 😍

I love my "Mercury Retrograde" and "Rose Gold Remastered", I also love her nude/brown lipsticks. My favorite perfumes right now are also from the KayAli brand, the Vanilla 28 and the hair perfume, "White Flower"!!! Other than than that, oh yeah one of the older, little palettes "Topaz Obsessions" and that's it from Huda, lol. Great looks though! I saw Great reviews on the Rose Qaurtz palette even from Theresa is Dead, it must be banging!

Hi Heather 🙏🤗🌅. Thank you so much for doing this video with the HUDA Beauty Empowered palette. That's a really pretty palette in person. These are some new formulas made in Italy so typically the quality should be good. But I'll find out when I buy this palette. My first Huda Beauty shadow purchase was the Desert Dusk palette which was 4 years ago . I liked it, it was $63 back then. I don't have an issue with her quality for the most part on those bigger palletes. So sorry It didn't work out for you Heather. You should just return this palette to Sephora. Since it seems like you didn't feel you got your 💰 worth. Thankfully a lot of her products have worked out for me and I love her fragrances that her sister has created. The one that is gold like is supposed to be part gel and powder to give a wet look no wet brush needed. The top and bottom shades people mostly use for liners as far as I’ve seen. I’ve seen some people do a halo with the gel

HI. The Rose Quartz in my opinion is better but this one for me is just a very neutral palette with a pop of purple. Is very expensive for what it is. I have neutral shadows and if i want a sparkly shade i go and get my Constance Carroll individual shadow pigments, those are sparkly and duocrome.

I hope you can give Hudas big pallets another try....I'd recommend either mercury retrograde, rose gold remastered, rose quartz, or the naughty pallet. The Mercury retrograde was on sale on her site a while ago, idk if it still is. But yeah these are expensive pallets. I will pass with this one because I'm not crazy with the color story.

I like to wear face sunscreen every day but I’m not always sure the order of which I should do it when I wear makeup.

I did get it, but I agree. It has too many duplicate shades (two golds, three peaches) and not enough deep matte shades (I would have loved the dark brown and the black not to be creams). Your looks are pretty, but not as pretty as your looks usually are (not trying to offend, just honestly, you can make ANY eyeshadow look gorgeous)!

i wasn’t interested in this palette because it just wasn’t for me. the rose quartz is the one i reallllly want and if it’s on sale for black friday on her site, i’m definitely buying it. i watched an awesome video that jen phelps made on this palette and she compared it to the glamlite chocolate martini palette, the colourpop lust for dusk palette, the nd dream palette and a bunch of other palettes and both them and others had the exact or almost exact same shades as this palette. i think this palette is beautiful, but i don’t need it. thank you so much for this video, heather. you saved us all soooo much money. we love you!!! 🤎🤎🤎

So I think why these big palettes have been hyped is because in previous years Huda has managed to put a wearable but somehow interesting colour story in these and the quality of these is very nice. I actually own the Naughty Nudes and the Rose Quarts and love those, but I skipped this one because I felt that the colour combination wasn't unique enough for me to buy it. And I do think Huda is slowly running to the same issue that PMG has in that her colour stories are beginning to be very repetitive.

I am going to be honest. Heather you always create beautiful looks. But you had to work way too hard blending and picking up pigment. I thought you were very sweet on your review but it was a hard pass for me. Thank you for your honest review. With the price point Huda needs to do better.
